QuotewhatajokeThis is now the most viewed topic on here. Wake up Tony, Brandon, elders, soma students and all of the rest of you caught up in it. You can not dismiss this and rationalize it spiritually by saying it is of the enemy. That is a cop out. I have certainly heard that line before. WAJ, I have a feeling that many of them think we are persecuting them and may even compare this &qu

I've been reading this thread for a couple of days now and feel that I need to contribute my story with RLC. I went to RLC back when it was EGCC, beginning on the second Sunday after the church was founded...probably back in 1990. I was 5 or 6 years old at the time. Back then it was a fantastic place. The church was small, everyone was tight knit and like family, my mom and step-dad were

Nice to know that my mother is being made a mockery for the sake of "discipleship." I don't know how long ago you were told this, or why you were told this, but shame on the elders and pastor Tony for letting this gossip persist. I'm so glad my mom decided to leave the church for good, especially knowing now that people have been whispering and snickering about her behind her

I have searched far and wide and cannot find any way to go back and edit my previous posts, but I've know I should be able to. I've looked at my posts and see no "edit" option next to "reply to this message" "quote this message" etc. I am logged in...is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Yes, Greg was an elder at the time and did not step down despite the drama surrounding him at the time. Randy did play the drums after that happened, but was asked to step down soon after.

QuoteBraveHeartwow! I now know who your talking about. Randy is a really cool guy that is a very straigh forward honest & hard working guy! he would help set up and tear down and I never ever heard him complain or say he was tired. it was cool to see his wife singing on the worship team back when it was Elk Grove Community. then just one day he was no longer playing the drums??? Huth would s
