From what I've read, Bethel World Outreach in Brentwood is still a disciple making church. It is my understanding that Desert Life Church was also. The Desert Life Church is now called Impact Church. It continues to be a disciple making church. Troy Johnson is now pastor of Discover Life Church in Carlsbad, CA. It is also disciple making church. From what I have read about discipling c

QuotefcultsI posted on here publicly to defend your nephew Lee and I believe your side of the story. I was there at TSU and witnessed how cultish Lee's friends at the time were. Troy Johnson and his brother in law Rudy considered Lee and me too as someone who was "their disciple". In Troy's album "I Will" (a gospel recording of his) Troy refers to his brother in law

Do these groups have so much control over an individual that the person would willingly go to who-knows-where without mentioning it to any family

This is kind of a long story. So I'll condense it as much as possible. My nephew's college friend introduced him to a campus ministry at Tennessee State University during the late 1990's. After 2 years at T.S.U. my nephew enlisted in the Army and planned to continue his education when his tour of duty ended. Instead of doing this, he moved to Arizona where his former college
