QuotecorboyAm worried that many UM followers who become heart broken and fall away from UM risk recruitment by others waiting on the sidelines to scoop them up. They've demonstrated themselves as having leisure time and funds. For this reason, because so many people who come to this forum are heartbroken, this rule exists for use of this message board --and it also applies to the pri

Amazing in the UniMed propaganda attributed to Brendan Mooney (Warez no cultz k thanx bai) that he has the gall to quote Margaret Singer and her seminal work on cult dynamics. Except that he left out the rest of the book that says 'Yeh u iz cultz k'. It's no different to the way Serge misrepresents and distorts any respectable literature in order to further his interests.

QuoteCOncerned PartnerHi TF, Yes, I have witness those ideas in many of the students about their children and it is of grave concern to me. They dont seem to understand that we have to be the adults and to parent our children. Serge teaches them two very dangerous ideas. First is that children are adults in childs bodies. This explains why children are at events and exposed to things t

Quotetreefern I find it very sad that to 'live' in honesty and to be able to help the many, many UMers who are now questioning what-in-the-hell they are/have been doing, I yet again have to disclose another personal part of myself! I find it sad and infuriating. A patient should never need to take it upon themselves to expose the ethical transgressions of therapist. The bogus healers

QuotetreefernThank you VD your story it is the same one I have heard numerous times from women with some still inside the Cult-of-the-mind Universal Medicine. Unfortunately the women still 'inside' do not have the same strength you posess to both remove yourself or publicy denounce Serge, hopefully this too will change. I would like to add here that if any UMer works in the field whe

QuoteCOncerned Partner From a recent email to the students: .... Please understand that the volunteers are doing an amazing amount of work behind the scenes to read, allocate, proof read and post your submissions. In some cases the submissions we receive have a lot of great themes but require further clarity for those themes to be clearly communicated. If you are not a confident writer ther

QuotecorboyAgain, this may be just coincidence. When I first posted the material on calorie restriction research done by Ancel Keyes and the descriptions of how people think and behave on calorie restricted diets, no discussion followed. An interloper showed up and skewed the discussion away from the topic. An analysis of the diet actually followed by devotees of UM is the only way to fi

QuoteCOncerned Partner I take from that that Serge is in for some trouble due to his lack of integrity, otherwise it went right over my head. I don't think any of the followers are interested in astrology as Serge, like everything, has discounted it as coming from the wrong energy.... Frankly, I think you will find the minds of the students are not given to the subtleties of argument on

QuoteMacReadyQuote: I've noticed a recurring claim among the UM community that Serge has taught them to 'discern the truth' by 'feeling into it' with their bodies/hearts, rather than considering it with the critical faculties of their minds. This 'feeling' process, apparently, is the filter applied to everything presented by Serge and Universal Medicine by s

QuotecorboyHere are links to a study we discussed earlier on this thread on how humans behave when food is restricted. The study was done by Ancel Keyes in the 1940s and to this day is referenced in the literature on eating disorders. Note: When calorie intake is very severely restricted, people feel ice cold even when the weather is in in the 30 degrees C and will dress in heavy clothin

I thought I’d post on Serge’s astrology and his current transits coinciding with the increase in public scrutiny. Please note that the astrologers at the astro.com thread are much more advanced than me and have done an amazing analysis of his chart. I just thought I’d write up a simple layperson friendly version for the benefit of those reading here, focusing on just a few points. Then I’m go

Check out the eyes on this character, Serge Benhayon of Universal Medicine, and subject of 100+ page RR forum thread. His speciality is cathartic hands on trance induction. The photo is probably about 7 years old. LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK. He doesn't look like that now though. Rather, he's looking gaunt, haggard and frankly, sick. Apparently he's requiring surgery for an eye disor

Wow, I just read through that astrology thread. Go astrologers!!! xxxoxxx It turned out to be quite a resource, through which I found that Medical Observer article as well as a few more snippets of first hand stuff. I have to say I found all of it distressing. The UM damage to date is much worse than I thought. The induced eating disorders, the restrictions on exercise and preparing food for chi

Here are some observations about Serge’s female following based on my experience several years ago. Plus some concluding remarks and questions. Then I'm going to bed! It's past 9 pm and getting close to 3 am and the entities are out to get me: Serge has a brilliant skill for making women feel special. He’s clearly relaxed around them, gives them his full attention, listens, takes an

Hello again, thanks for bearing with me. I did post this last night, but may have inadvertently deleted it. Either Serge psychically intervened and sent the post to Arcturus or I need an IT expert with me at all times. My experience of UM seven years ago continued: After the dodgey ‘ovarian reading’ I was convinced Serge was in the act of establishing a full blown cult with him as its enl

QuoteHerbertKane178 There is some really insightful material on there, even if you don't follow astrology. I know Serge recently spoke on numerology, I wonder what his views would be on astrology and the information presented here? Serge thought astro was astral, lol. He could see some sense in it, but his teachings had transcended that, of course. I know a bit about astrology and will

Continued from the previous post: The ovarian reading ended up being the last treatment I had from Serge. I was feeling better, partly due to the treatment and also because I’d taken long overdue holidays. Serge asked if I wanted the ovarian reading and even when he explained what it was I struggled to see the point of it. Serge explained he would put his hands on my lower abdomen and (ps

Hello, this is my first post here since I was prompted to seek other UM critics after reading David Leser’s article in the SMH Good Weekend. Sorry if I state anything obvious in the post. This thread is over 100 pages long(!) and I don't have time to read the whole thing. Thank you, however Herbert and friends for starting this and forming a support community. I was only briefly involved
