Byron Katies so-called "Four Questions" are about as harmless as a spiderweb is to a fly. Its a trick. And Byron Katie even says...come into my parlor...said the spider to the fly...then she laughs... Byron Katie (the Work) and The Work on The Web, The Spider and the Fly

dear god, there are all sorts of links out there about Byron Katie and suicide, it seems to be a favorite topic, with the need for a direct personal response. Can it be that suicidal levels of desperate suffering are being targeted? Its addressed in comments in the blog, to "submerge yourself deeply into the world of suffering". Unlike what she says, questioning and opening up suffer

This is a very disturbing and sad post. Its heartbreaking to watch people's minds being shattered like this. Its an excerpt from a comment at the Guruphiliac blog (below) from early 2009. Its so disturbing, to see regular everyday people get taken in by these extremely powerful techniques, and then literally have their minds scrambled over the course of a couple of weeks, by the dozens an

yes, regardling Tony Parsons. A quick search before seemed to have him come up with some Ramtha cult stuff, but that does not appear to be the case. One would have to look into him, very very carefully. What is a "residential"? Sounds like a live-in LGAT seminar? That would have to be analyzed. People should be very cautious with this non-dual stuff, in my view. For example, for

So much of what Stephen Mitchell says does not add up. For example, in the email quote below, he denies that Byron Katie studied Ken Keyes material in the Halfway-House. How does he know? Was Stephen Mitchell there in 1986? Was he also hiding under Byron Katies bed in 1986? (she says she slept on the floor anyway, with no bed...Stephen Mitchell doesn't even seem to remember that part of

This passage shows what a conscious manipulator Stephen Mitchell is, trying to pretend that Byron Katie doesn't read books, what a joke, what a scam. Just bold-faced BS, right in your face.. Read this thread, and it shows how in the suppressed Byron Katie book, A CRY IN THE DESERT, they talk in detail about how Byron Katie studied A Course In Miracles, and many other programs and methods.

EFT is literally hypnosis. (also TFT) Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) QUOTE: "Emotional Freedom Techniques is the creation of Gary Craig, an energy healer who would fit well in any New Age borough. Gary is always smiling and happy because he has found the cause and cure for almost everything and he really wants to help you. He loves you and cares for you. How do I know? He says so on

That is what Byron Katie apparently said in that banned book, that she healed someone like Jesus Christ, and she hints at that stuff all the time. Probably Stephen Mitchell came on the scene, and wanted to rewrite and fine-tune the Byron Katie marketing image, so he recalled all those books from before 1998, and shredded them in his basement. Kinda funny how Byron Katie manages her "story&

One wonders about Andy Bernstein and Byron Katie International. There does not appear to be any corporate info at all on the Byron Katie website, of course. No list of directors, or management. No open disclosure. There is a slick Andy Bernstein who sells "Mental Yoga". Wonder if that is the same person? Quotehelpme2timesQuoteDaphneByron Katie is as advertised. I think tha

There is also another new post about the Turnaround House on the Guruphiliac blog, which is cross-posted below for reference. Byron Katie is constantly talking about visiting "death beds" on her CD's, and that makes it clear there are probably very large "death bed gifts" being made, perhaps of entire estates, houses, etc. The post below is in that area of the ballpark.

This is in reference to the CD set, “Your Inner Awakening: The Work of Byron Katie: Four Questions That Will Transform Your Life” by Byron Katie. This is initially a much more mainstream, gentle, and seductive program for the widest possible audience. This is Katie at her most seductive. Her voice-tone is very different than her other audio program, it is much softer, slower, and it sounds a

Here is a test. There will be a test. Once a person really BUY$ into The Work of Byron Katie, even just the Four Questions and a Turnaround, it becomes literally IMPOSSIBLE to criticize or find fault with Byron Katie, or The Work. Its a classic CATCH-22. You are locked-in. As no matter what fault you find with Darth Katie or The (alleged) Work, you have to do a Turnaround that invalida

Going through the book version of "A Thousand Names for Joy" by Byron Katie and Stephen Mitchell. The very last page of the book is full of embedded linguistic unconscious and conscious COMMANDS, which look like a normal text. But they are written as strong commands to the Unconscious, they are literally post-hypnotic suggestions, and they outline the basic PROCESS of Grooming Katie

I forgot to mention a couple of things from the book,"Loving What Is" by Byron Katie. She also does some diabolical "preframes" about her alleged "transcripts". Byron Katie says some parts of her in the transcripts might appear... COLD, UNCARING, UNLOVING and UNKIND, and she tells you to ignore that, its for their own good. See what she is doing there? Sh

Going through the book, Loving What Is: Four Questions That Can Change Your Life, by Byron Katie (Author), Stephen Mitchell (Author) Its very unfortunate people seem to be quite easily taken in by systems like this. The book begins with Stephen Mitchell repeating the "Story" from 1986. Why is Mitchell telling this Story? Was he there? Can he verify what happened? Why are no fact

Byron Katie has literally taken wonderful symbolic techniques from advanced hypnotherapy, and reversed them, literally using them AGAINST the subject (YOU). For a person to do that knowingly, they would have to be a sociopath or worse, or just a utter uneducated ignoramous, which Byron Katie isn't. She is highly skilled in these arts. The most serious problem with Katie is she is insertin
