exfollower:

OK.

But everything should relate directly to issues relevant to the Hickman group, which is what this thread is about.

kinda scary, huh? what if the gov. clients of theirs found out the officers (and probably all the employees) are in a cult? and that the fees paid are supporting a doomsday cult, with a history of child abuse!!! who's up for some emailing, letter writing?

Exfollower,
I don't get it. How would you know if the Parsifal Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hickman Group?
All we know really is that Bill Vanderventer and Gary Coons and Mark Olsen founded the company and that they also lead the cult which was originated by Jack Hickman.
That's like...correlation...not cause and effect...right?
In other words we know that Gary Coons and this Vanderventer family run the cult which was originated by the now deceased Jack Hickman.
We also know that they run and founded the Parsifal Corporation.
What is a subsidiary? What does that mean?

My God.
Can anyone imagine what it is like to be dependent upon Gary Coons and Olsen and VanDerVenter for a paycheck? Oh it makes my stomach hurt just to imagine for even a minute what it would feel like to , once again, be dependent upon them.
Are they fair? Do they treat subordinates with decency and/or respect?
Maybe that's part of the control they have over some of their members? Oh God. It makes me feel so icky just to think of it.

AND... - thank you sallie for remembering and finding that. i had never heard of it.

i hope we all remember what JH taught -" we should go out in the world and be successful... in own businesses. this is how we will be successful for our lord and our family."

he didn't want a bunch of communal hippies, or even 9-5ers... - make money, control your own destiny!

well, yah! if he's getting 10% of everything... and don't forget, 10% was 'the tithe', in other words - the minimum. i knew many people who gave 15-20%!

i guess gary & mark 'learned their lessons well'.

Gary Coons and Mark Olsen and the Vanderventer family and Hicks et al. GETTING money does not sound scary to me.
.
Gary Coons and Mark Olsen being responsible for employees who may depend on them for their livelihood DOES sound scary to me.

Children who are dependent on them
Emancipated minors who are dependent on them
Employees who are dependent on them.

I wouldn't want to be any of them.

Ick...

More memories.

When I decided not to ''tow the line'' decades ago...I was cast out of my home. Imagine? Living on the street...well... not quite...'

I survived but....the economy was good back then. Anyone could get a job.

So now it isn't just humungo families these youth contend with. It's...like...''the family business'' OR ''fend for yourself in a bad economy''....

Not good if you ask me.

Well Ex....your definition begs the question.

How?

How would you know that Parsifal Corporation is a ''wholly owned subsidiary of the Hickman Cult''?
You are saying that you have some knowledge that the Parsifal Corporation is ''wholly owned'' by an underground cult?

How would you know?

Do members have stock or something? Where would you get that kind of info?

This is a nefarious group. Do they have some sort of record of collecting ''tithes''? It would shock me if they did.

How about N.E.R.T??

Isn't that a volunteer company that a lot of members claimed to work for?

Did I read that somewhere?

Anyone know anything about N E R T?

I think it's a Red Cross sort of thing....???? They help hurricane victims?
