Does anyone know where I can find out any information about lawsuits that might have been filed against cults or abusive organisations? I would be interested in suits claiming damages for psychological distress and malpractice, as well as lack of due process. Thanks.

The Baptist Organization in Arizona was recently find and prison sentences handed down against those who scammed the flock. In fact, one individual got sentenced to 12 years in prison and had to pay back millions of dollars and they were disbanded. They conned thousands of people into believing that their investments would reap a harvest. There is such a thing as clergy malpractice and because they are a 501.3c, they can be sued and this can be reported to the IRS. This opens the door for other abused church members to effective have recourse.
