We all eventually got out, which is good. Kelly is obviously an excellent writer--an observant soul.

The Sun link is a deadlink now. That's peculiar timing.

The entire Golden Threads saga is just one more chapter in an encyclopedia full of examples of doctrine trumping LOVE, something that has plagued all religious persuasions from time immemorial. That is why making the GOSPEL out to be anything more than LOVE usually ends with a trainwreck of casualities.

The K.I.S.S approach is always recommended--LOVE GOD, LOVE your Brother--end of story.

Didn't Marilyn have a trust fund just in her name? Someone mentioned a while back that the proceeds of the sale of the South Gate church went specifically to her. Is that correct...or simply an example of anti-lamp propaganda?

I am the one that posted that I had read on one of the forums, and it could not have been but this one or the FactNet one that the money from the sale of that church went into Marilyn's trust fund. However, do understand that I read that, that makes it here say so it would not stand up in court. That is the reason I asked more questions about it, but nobody knows. Supposedly Gary Hargrave told some pastor that, when the church was sold.

As someone else pointed out, as slick as Marilyn and Gary are, they would probably be too good as shuffling funds to make it appear legal anyway.
