If you are over the age of 18 and have previously been involved in a cult, you may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted in affiliation with John Jay College of Criminal Justice. The study seeks to improve our understanding of one's cognitive and emotional response to being involved in a cult, as well as the relationship dynamics within such groups.

Participation would include 1.5-2 hours discussing your experiences in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental atmosphere (via telephone or WhatsApp). All responses are private and confidential. We hope this data will help others in similar situations and lead to better policies, laws, and services.
