A letter showing how Landmark uses the Tsunami disaster to enroll people into Landmark. :(

Hi everyone,

I just got back from International Aid www.internationalaid.org after
having spoken with the administration about their thoughts about a newly
(SELP Style) created project to fund. This project could be yours for the
creation and contribution for the small price of being enrolled in the
possibility and perhaps contributing some time. The idea came from
participation in this group, and the project belongs to anyone and everyone
that participates. This could be your project and any contribution to the
development would be greatly appreciated and would make it all the more
personally your project.
Here is the idea for the possibility.

Work a day for disaster relief.

If I could fly you with me to work for a day to give relief to the
suffering in one of the devastated areas...would you come with? If you're
like me you might not be able to get away from your busy life and family
responsibilities. The good new is that you can still "Work a day for
disaster relief" right from your homeland and directly have your dedication,
thoughts, prayers and have the contribution of your working effort show up
"as if you were there helping personally" to help the hurting people. Work a
day for relief is a program designed to get you in touch personally with
your personal efforts affect upon those in need.

*This is as far as the project is created. Your insights and
participation would be greatly appreciated. The vision is a web site and
flyers printed to raise awareness and a way to help people rationalize their
giving. we all get so caught up in our own worlds and wonder what we can do
to really help. I thought this is a way to help people get a grasp on the
impact and get a fuller benefit personally from their contribution apart
from just taking some money out of their wallet. So people can have that day
to "feel" the difference they are making. *
Also, the web site would have links to reputable charitable sites such as
red cross, international aid, etc.

Thanks for your contributions of time or effort.

So rather than reaching into your wallet and giving, you can work for Landmark for a day and obsess over your own feelings..."rationalize" your giving. How sad.
