LGAT Jargon

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to post the jargon they were taught in their LGAT. I would be grateful for the posts and I think it might be beneficial for folks to be able to compare the word and thought manipulations with their own experiences, possibly shedding some light on areas they may not have considered or realized yet. After all, most of these LGATs are off-shoots of est and should have some similarities. For example:

PSI:

-'voting red or black': to reference the positive or negative decision you are making

-integrity:'operating from wholeness' AKA operating from PSI values

- Programs: any thought or intuition you had before attending PSI that needs to be questioned continuously until it is eliminated or changed to align with PSI thinking

- 'I AM' statements: 'I AM a beautiful buzzing flower' is true if you say it is because 'YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY'

-'To think it to create' we become what we think about

- Workshop of the mind: refers to the mental box they want you to put yourself in multiple times a day 'to heal yourself and those around you'

- Screen of the mind: the other mental box you should put yourself in 3x's a day to 'envision the situation as it is and then how you want it to be'

- The need to be right-
PART 1: a phrase that can be used against you in nearly any scenario.
PART 2: You will bring people and events into your life to fit your 'story' to make you 'right' (even events in which you were victimized)

- 'SO WHAT, NOW WHAT!'- The victim-blaming statement. 'Victim is a viewpoint'. Something terrible or hurtful happened to you. So (what), what are you going to do NOW?

-'We operate from victim or responsible' in our choices and actions.

- Personality boxes- promoter, supporter, analyst, etc. Your behavioral style is 'the coat you wear' and you can choose to operate from another place (so change coats? I didn't really understand this one to be honest, ha ha!)

And finally, what 'rules' (practicing personal integrity) were outlined in the seminar?
1-confidentiality
2-no solicitation
3-finish the class
4-be on time all days and sessions
5-nothing in your mouth, no open containers
6-seat rule
7-no side talking
8- name tag visible

Followed by the 'kind suggestions' to turn phone OFF (not just silent), stay in the room, no drug or alcohol use during class days.

Take care, everyone!

More "rules":
9-no questioning the trainers
10-the trainers know you better than you know yourself
11-no refunds unless you complete the training and request within 24 hours
12-no recording of training sessions

Jargon:
self-righteous
authentic self

Money and You Seminar
Jargon

1) Do you want to be Right or do you want to be Happy?
If anyone criticised the curriculum and challenged the Presenter,

2) For things to Change first I must Change. This coincided with Responsibility.

3) Below the line was -

Victim
Blame
Denial
You are a whimp

Above the line of Responsibilry was -

Accountability

4) If you didn't change you would get a wake up call. The universe hits you with a feather first, if you didn't listen you would get hit with a mack truck.

5) Working at a job for a Pay Check was prostituting yourself. Working hard was not smart. Going to your grave not having achieved anything of significance.

6) If you had an accident it was a wake up call.

7) The universe provided. Would you go to the ocean with a cup to scoop what you thought you deserve or would you go with a bucket?

8) Cooking a frog slowly. Convincing other people to do the seminar. Recruiting.

9) If you want to be rich don't go to school?! Education not essential, but a hindrance.

10) Confusion is good. Presenter would ask "Whose confused raise your hands?"

11) Who isn't Complete? Promoted Auditing/Clearing, Rebirthimg, Body Work and Rolfing.

12) I am a Money Magnet. I love Money and Money loves me. Rev Ike.

13) If you stayed in your comfort zone nothing happened or changed. Feeling uncomfortable was good.

14) They offered a world that wasn't about competition but about Cooperation, a solution to world problems.

15) If you wanted support, spend your time Assisting at future seminars and do more seminars at Excellerated Business Schools. Assisting was a privilege of service to humanity. Free Slave Labor.

Cooking a frog slowly- This one is disturbing in more ways than one! Can you expand on “rolfing” and what it is? I’ve never heard anything similar to this.
Quite amazing how they can make a bunch of gobbledygook become these mantras people live by in these groups. Thank you for sharing and taking the time to put all of that here. I remember in PSI the different tactics used to get free labor out of their attendees. If you volunteered for multiple basic seminars you could get a friend or family member in the basic seminar for free, if you were late to a phone call in PLD class you would get community service, and of course the giving of yourself to the community by cleaning up someone’s business property etc.
I definitely hear many similar themes that I heard in PSI in your post.

Hello crback22,

I don’t have any experience in receiving Rolfing. The presenter at the time, 30 years ago now, described it. It sounded very personally invasive and painful.

"a technique of deep tissue manipulation aimed at the release and realignment of the body, and the reduction of muscular and psychic tension"

The "cooking the frog" was explained to us at the end of Sunday seminar. They wanted us to supply contact details of family and friends that would be interested in doing the seminar. It was a manipulation technique to slowly persuade family and friends to attend a free "suck in" seminar. If you turned up the heat too high the frog will jump out of the water. However a slow increase in heat would eventually cook the frog.

They perfectly described what had been done to us. Well and truly cooked. Brains turned to mush.

I will include more jargon I had forgotten and taken from my initial posts in 2005.

"Clear any Blocks" Things holding us back.

"Mack truck" and "Hit With a Feather"

"All upsets are opportunities to learn something"

"Generalised Principles vs. Specialised Principles" Taken from Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller's Principles.

"W.I.M.P. = Where Is My Paycheck" - working at a job

"Paradigm"

"Responsibility/Blame/Victim/Justify/Righteousness"

"Receivers/Demonstrators" The Bocks Game.

"Breathe" - Presenter constantly told us to breathe, this was to encourage us to breakdown and have a Rebirth.

"True Purpose" - doing the job you love

"It's Your Stuff" - Blaming other person. Graduates were constantly saying this to others. It was constantly said to us. Victim shaming and Blaming.

"Precession"

"Perturbation"

"Champagne Flows Like the Hudson River" - the universe just wants to give to you an outflow of wealth.

"Hug a Rose" Hugging strangers in the seminar.

"Do you want to be Right or Happy" - You are wrong, so pull in your EGO

"Love/Courage/Trust/Joy/Integrity" - Blocks Game jargon

"Power"

"Synergy"

"Win/Win" Cooperation. Win/Lose Society we live in. Outside of the group.

"F.E.A.R. = False Evidence Appearing Real"

"Mistakes are Learning Experiences"

"Leverage" Doing more with less.

"N.I.C.E" = Nothing Inside Cares Enough

Hope the above makes sense.
