A Cult?

Since Yogi Bhajan is dead and gone and many people are allowed to go away or come in, is Sikh Dharma still called a CULT by Ross and company?
I thought cults don't allow people to leave. As I understand, a lot of people leave Sikh Dharma and a lot join up.
I seriously don't see what's wrog with them-now that Yogi is dead and gone! I have attended their functions as an 'origianl' Punjabi Sikh and I find them to be okay.
Please let me know.

Groups called "cults" often continue after a leader dies and remain essentially the same in structure and dynamics, such as Scientology.

Here are some "warning signs."

People have left 3HO before while Bhajan was alive.

There has been a schism between mainstream Sikhs and Bhajan's devotees for some time.

3HO is still authoritarian, controlled by an eilite few without meaningful accountability and it lacks any serious financial transparency.

I would not recommend 3HO to anyone under any circumstances.
