Quot function broken/unreliable?

Several times on this forum I and other users have made post using the
Quote

feature and it's maybe fifty fifty that your going to get an actual quote seperation, or just the
Quote

language being around your text.

This would be an example of what it looks like instead of quoting.[quote/]

(I used the above incorrect code for the end quote on purpose so that it didn't just randomly decide to work. :)
