Has anyone had any recent experience with GCAC Great Commission Association of Churches. 20 Years ago it was a fundalmentalist shepherding group. I did visit a GCAC church and the atmosphere was noticeably more relaxed.

I did find the steady diet of contemporary praise music to be wearing. I also had a steady diet of it in pentecostal circles, so I can only take in minute doses. The senoir pastor had a habit of making weekly heurmenuectic flubs.

I was suspicious of what would happen if I got involved in the small groups. My cultic antennae went up at that point. I decided to go back the Methodist church was clearly safer.
