An article on various Native American writers commenting on the verdict, with a revealing comment from a friend of James Shore to the Lakota people:

Also I am linking to this post on the previous page for any ex-JR people hurt in any event who would like to help in the rebuttal of the claims of mitigation ( he's a nice guy, really, despite his customers dying at an alarming rate) by the defence:

The CNN video feed was pulled at the last minute. Only three witnesses for the prosecution in the aggravated circumstances--family of the victims (Megan Friedrickson is rumoured to have done a runner) and the sentence is not expected to be handed down for a month--during which time DeathRay will probably be out on bail if the aggravating circs are not proven. (info from Team Sheila)

An appeal is already planned by the defence but won't be announced until after sentencing.

These people are tweeting from the courtroom, currently the only source of info:

Timely re-broadcast of the ABC Primetime documentary from Dan Harris on (amongst the other usual suspects) DeathRay, the self-described 'thought-leader,' preaching LOA, 'karma on steroids.'

And where's Megan ??

Comment from La Vaughn:

[celestial-reflections.blogspot.com]

'And Megan Fredrickson whose testimony we were hotly anticipating? In the wind. Both she and her husband Josh took a powder. They are nowhere to be found. Through their attorney, the State learned that she was refusing to cooperate. She and her husband are afraid of being indicted. I expect they'll be avoiding the state of Arizona indefinitely.
~~~~
Motions had already been flying back and forth with the defense moving to strike four of five aggravating factors proposed by the State. Prosecutors agreed to dismiss two: presence of an accomplice and the heinous, cruel, and depraved nature of the crime. No doubt these things would have been hard to prove without Megan Fredrickson's testimony.'
A good article here with a current round-up:
[spiritualityisnoexcuse.wordpress.com]
that makes mention of the first known and often overlooked victim of James Arthur Ray, Colleen Conaway.
'Ray has so far avoided being investigated by police in San Diego in relation to the death of his first victim, Colleen Conaway who died in one of his seminars barely two months before he negligently caused three further deaths at a further seminar. Colleen’s death was inadequately investigated by police after Ray and some members of staff lied to police about the circumstances of Colleen’s death, after they had abandoned her body in a shopping plaza in San Diego.
James Ray and some members of his staff told carefully co-ordinated lies to the San Diego police and to participants (who only learned one of the death through the media). They also lied to some concerned staff members about it, instructing them to inform any inquirers that “We’ve found Colleen, she’s fine and decided not to return to the group”. That was after discussing the situation with his attorneys.
The cover up has been covered extensively on this site (see previous link), and a more complete description of events can be found here in a comment posted by a member of Colleen’s family.'
~~~~~~~

'What gets excluded from the trial, also doesn’t get into the media. At the time one family turned off their mother’s life support system, James Ray was still trying to conduct business as usual, running a public seminar in his money-making venture the “World Wealth Society”.'

And here's Megan:

Jury is deliberating on the aggravating factors, the only source of info on the evidence, both closings and rebuttal from:

[twitter.com]

who is in the courtroom.

The defence sounds preposterous, saying that there is no evidence that James Ray received a dime from the SW income--James Ray International got paid, Angel Valley got paid. He seems to have forgotten that the jury has already seen that every exec officer of JRI is.....James Ray himself.
