Great article and ACCOMPANYING VIDEO of an indepth report on Scientology's insane leader Miscavige. Especially funny are the reports on his pet beagle who had a special Sea Org uniform tailor-made with CAPTAIN'S STRIPES. If you didn't SALUTE THE DOG then David Miscavige would go nuts and yell and shout. God help you if the dog barked at you...then David Miscavige believed the dog had discovered some "crime" you must have committed.

The most ground-breaking parts of this coverage are:
A) Scientology admits to the RPF, the Rehabilitation Project Force, a punishment/labor camp that shouldn't even be legally allowed to exist.
B) The Purification Rundown. Dangerous and medically unsound, this is a "detoxification" method that is used for general Scientology, in the Narconon program, and as discussed on Nightline, sometimes used as a punishment.
C) Bashir is not afraid to question whether the Scientology attitude on psychiatric/neurological medication contributed to Jett Travolta's death.
D) The program brings into question the entire issue of Scientology's tax-exempt IRS status.

I hope this was not a spoiler for anyone, but this information needs to be posted as many ways as possible.

I am concerned that Marty Rathbun and other high-profile dissenters are still loyal to the tech. Rathbun is agressively courting high-level defectors. While current management is criminal, Scientology as a whole is psychologically damaging and unsound, requiring all the "newspeak" and "newthink" that makes free and critical thought impossible. I don't see an attempt to atone for past misdeeds, I see an agenda. I hope I'm wrong. I would like nothing better than to see these former OT8s help exes leave L Ron behind. I really enjoy seeing recent exes join the Ex Scientologist Message Board and start finding their way back into the world.
