Interesting link. I would however believe that Crazy Ol' Phelps is talking about the "impending" Rapture, not suicide which is poo-poo'ed in Baptist (and Christian) philosophy. He could also be talking about being martyred by being assassinated or some thing. I would be shocked if this was a suicide reference.

I would like to thank you for posting this link. I have seen numerous media stories over the Westboro Baptist Church, and alot of media coverage of their protest demonstrations. However I never really thought to learn about this group or even go to it's website over the interent, untill now. I really learned alot. Hopefully this doesn' happen, but being aware I think is the best step.

I don't sense that Phelps has the capacity to lead a mass suicide.
he is too selfish and self-centered.
He has gotten away with his dribbling for 35 years and feels bullet proof.
Should he prove me wrong, I'll attend his funeral and protest.
