Polygamy in the State of Israel

In Judaism, outlawing polygamy was a relatively recent ruling. Years ago there was a rabbi (it was either Rabbenu Tam or Rabbenu Gershon) who had 2 wives. The wives fought and hurt the rabbi and he made the ruling that polygamy was assur (“forbidden”) among Ashkenazi Jews.
In the modern State of Israel (Happy 60th Birthday by the way) a person can come into the State with up to 4 wives (some of the Arabic countries allow polygamy) but his male children will only be allowed to have 1 wife he that child is born in the country.

Well Judaism is a Middle Eastern/North african religion(so is Christianity/Islam). When you have an Arab and African based people-you will have multiple wives. It is all in the Torah/Bible. Israel is a Middle Eastern country and not a Western country. Israel isn't Europe or America.
