Well what an interesting time I had in Korea.. not only did I live in a town populated by followers of one Korean Messiah, I came across another Korean Messiah soon after.

They've recently begun advertising in Korea for English writers and editors, and just before I left Korea they had started putting up flyers in Western bars in the city of Daejon.

Their site shows that:
a) they have their own "Korean Messiah" a guy who died 100 years ago.
(There's some hilarious stuff on their website about the leader catching a litghtning bolt prior to his death and then being carried to heaven by a group of spirit warriors on spirit horses...his wife witnessed all of this....so it must be true!
b) followers have to contribute money on a weekly basis.

I didn't personally come into contact with anyone in this group, but I asked several Koreans about it and the answers were all along the lines of, "They're strange and its all about money"

I'm might even joing them when I'm back in Korea, and try and find out if they're operating outside of Korea. ;)

Has anyone else heard of them???

If cults interest you, you have to come to Korea!!
Once on a bus I passed a sign giving directions to the Moonies University!!!
