It has been told to me that this churches members spank their children with leather clad paddles. I have heard that their leader is very charismatic and the followers are easily brainwashed by him. Does anyone have any facts to prove the rumors I have heard?

i used to live right aroung the corner from that church, Encourager, but as charismatic as i was we never attended, preferring to drive across town for our brainwashing sessions. I know two people who attended as recently as three years ago, and I may try to get some info out of them. don't doubt it though. Gosh, I've got such a predisposition to judge charismatics guilty until proven innocent----what's wrong with meeee!!!!.......

Encourager is pretty much your run-of-the-mill, going-over the top, charismanic church. Won't be long before their services are nothing more than a parody of drunken barnyard animals passing out at the altar, roaring, braying, and quacking like ducks.
