When my partner escaped the rapist's apartment, she went to her friend(I'll call him Bob)
Bob told her he would call the FBI. He did not take her to the hospital. He did NOT call the police. He did nothing to report the assault & kidnapping. I don't even know that he called the FBI. Mainly because I know for a fact that the FBI would say "Call the police! Get her to a hospital!Then call us back!"
And none of that happend.
All along though, through the entire ordeal, Bob was the only friend of hers saying "Keep going to the cult. It's helping you. It's a good thing. You need to do this!" All of her other friends knew it was a bad thing.
So I definately believe that "Bob" was somehow a co-conspirator to kidnapping and rape. Because:
1. He pushed her into joining the cult and staying with it.
2. He did not call the authorities when she came to him for help.
3. He did not help her seek the medical treatment rape victims require.

He did nothing. Why?
I believe that he was somehow paid or convinced by the cult leader to bring women to him so that they could be raped.
To me, he is just as guilty as the rapist.

These people are sick. And they take advantage of people wherever they can. What can anyone do? What can I do?
