FreeAtLast,

Do you happen to know where Geronimo lived from age 8 until he moved in with his grandparents? Im sure that question is on alot of peoples minds. Its amazing that this site for the ROC has had over 500 viewings in the last week. I hope this means people are questioning things that they see.

Newsflash!!!   The love of Jesus flows through the ROC.  Imagine, if you will, a place that is fuzzy on the outside but cold as the pits of perdition in their insides.  A place where the "leadership" is elitist and stuck-up to the max.  A place that puts on a false front to the masses, but are ruder and colder than liquid nitogren to people they have worked with and stood beside as staff and leadership for years in ministry.  These people may say they have the milk of human kindness running through their veins, but it surely has gone sour!!  Someone needs to throw out the rotten milk.  Maybe a transfusion is in order!!  LOJ Health Clinic, get your tourniquet ready!!
The best leadership technique taught at the ROC is how to make no eye contact or even notice someone who is right in front of or near them if they just don't belong to the upper echelon or coterie.  They definitely are practiced at this.  They are cold people with no heart.  They treat people who have a heart for God and ministry, fellow Christians, as pariahs and lepers if they just don't like you or if you have a conscience.  What ever happened to the love of Jesus, to love your brother, to care and help your family of Christians?
How come they name their thrift stores and health clinic after the one thing they lack, the Love of Jesus?  Maybe this is like a person telling you over and over he is your best friend and has your back, when actually he has a sharpened knife in your rib cage, smiling all the time.
These people are definitely in the right place.  God has them there for a special purpose.  Maybe its to find Jesus and salvation, because by their actions alone they are surely lacking "the Love of Jesus."

Just thought it was funny!!  The wikipedia site has inaccuracies in its info just like the ROC.  But I'll bet there is a better chance of the wikipedia site getting fixed before the ROC does!!  Also, the ones that "fancy" helping or improving the ROC are the first ones that are ostracized, removed, or alienated before they are dismissed from the body of Christ for caring too much!!  Why is it the people who want to make the Church a good place are the ones asked to leave?  Isn't this a poor business strategy?        Sorry, just part of my morning devotion.

ABove all, we need to keep the people that are still there in prayer. God tells us that there will be wolves dressed in sheeps clothing who will deceive and manipulate. The bible states that we also must have a heart after God, if we have this heart, God will also give us a discerning spirit and those who love the dark will be exposed by the light. We need to pray that God's light will serve as a scapel that will excise the cancer that is there. So many are being deceived. Just because they can quote all the "good" they do does not justify "ungodly" things that are done. We are to strive for righteousness. Jesus tells us not to align ourself with this world, to be separate. If you go there and are reading this web site, God must be convicting you or why else would you search out information. Your spirit is uneasy. Ask youself why, why do things not seem right? The ROC pretty much ostracises those who have left. God does not tell you to turn your backs on your brothers and sisters. Those who have left are not heretics, as preached by the leadership, they have seen the light, know the truth and are running after God. Search yourself, allow the Holy Spirit to show you the truth, remove the blinders, runaway from this place and seek God.

Hey, how come anybody who has skills, an intellect, a heart, a conscience, goals for their life, love for their fellow Christians, and is not a "yes" person are in one form or another pushed out or removed from the ROC, and all the flunkies, minions, and sycophants are left behind?  In a normal business model, an organization usually nurtures people who can help the business grow and be a success.  However, here the inept and clueless are elevated to a level of incompetancy that is unmatched and the people with potential and love in their hearts are excommunicated and viewed as less than.  Whatever happened to being impartial and not a respector of persons?
Every year Pastor G takes his elevated entourage and special minions to a "pastor school" for a week.  If you pay attention this is a euphemism for vacation on the ROC's dime.  How come when they come back they are the same as before?  They don't take notes and study at this "school"?  What do they learn?  There are no outward signs of any educational gains.
The leadership needs to take a class on personality enhancement and "showing the love" management.  Their uncanny way of completely ignoring you right in front of other people is phenomenal!!  They do it automatically, like breathing.  They don't ever slip up and accidentally say "Hello" or "how are you?"  They know they are better than you and make sure YOU know it.  I pray that they get it through their heads and hearts that they are only where they are by the Grace of God.  Authority and leadership is held to a higher standard and they ARE accountable for their actions.
Where else can you go with no discernable skills except undying loyalty and a masters in "being a B##CH" and get your own discipleship home with a picture window in your private room facing a quiet stream, your two daughters and grandaughter staying there, and no rent or utilities to pay,  plus a personal van and gas paid for?  All of this under the guise of their personal sacrifice to run a home.  Oh yea, what about the women disciples?  There are only 2 because no one can stand to be around the overseer.  She makes it so bad, no one can last under her!!   Also, why did they name it the House of Mercy when that is the one thing the overseer lacks??

Guess what!!!  Six weeks ago at a service, Pastor G read an email he got from a first time visitor who was impressed with everything going on at the ROC.  As he read the email, the person described the details like Jerome in the food pantry, the Soldiers and their duties, the In4Life dancers, etc.  This first time visitor who had never been to the ROC EVER knew names and details about the setup that most regular attending people don't even know.  And no one thought this was strange!!  Obviously, the email was a setup by G or one of his minions to give a positive boost at the end of the year.  Or this visitor was taken copious notes and interviewing members during and after the service in order to be able to write the email.  Yea right!!    Oh yea, how come the ROC uses prison terminology like the Big House, In4Life, or overseer so much?  Can't they leave that stuff behind and move on?     G says he is looking to add to the 133+ ministries.  How about the Nepotism Ministry?  How about the Make Do Ministry?  What about the Sycophants and Minions Ministry?  Oh, I forgot, he wants NEW ones.  They already have these three, just with different names.      The best one they have is the Zombie Ministry.  The only requirement is to be able to avoid eye contact and ignore people who are less than them because these people have left the ROC or have a heart and a conscience.  All the leadership belong to this one and excel in it.

carpediem: You crack me up! Thanks for adding a little humor to a situation that is not at all humorous. The truth will come out eventually, as people keep telling their own stories and quit believing the lies as they open their hearts up to the truth. Some people know the truth yet are still hanging out at the ROC. I'm not sure why. I really am THANKFUL TO BE OUT!

Here's a general accounting principle for you to mull over. Plus, it is completely legal!! Everyone at the ROC gets paid by check since mid-October. They all used to get their "blessing" every week in cash, anywhere from $25 to $125, totally under the table with no paper trail. However, for some reason, they have to all be blessed by check. But now, they get blessed on the 1st and the 15th of each month. If you take about 1 and a half minutes with a calendar, you can see that in a year, they lose 30 days of pay. Thus they get paid for 11 months out of 12. Who does this benefit? All the people who work a 60+hour week in the thrift stores or auto shop? Sure. That's why the thrift store workers ride around in a $100,000 vehicle with fully paid insurance and gas. That's why the workers wear the newest and most in-style clothes and shoes (never the same set twice) while they're picking up trash or digging ditches or cleaning toilets or setting up and taking down chairs. Also, most, if not all, of the disciples don't even get a miniscule blessing.
