Peruvian police say a man buried the body of an 18 year old American who died after drinking Ayahuasca.
Jose Pineda Vargas, 58, confessed to burying Kyle J. Nolan on his land in the Peruvian jungle in the Amazon basin that borders on Brazil, according to police colonel Roberto Palomino.
Kyle Nolan’s mother, Ingeborg Eswalo, of California began searching for Kyle when he didn’t return from Peru as scheduled on August 27, 2012.

Hard to infer much of anything from this. If it happened here in CA, I'd chalk it up to a teenybopper wanting to get loaded. Others would say it's Darwinian selection at work.
