Apparently some guy in England ran an ad asking people to "join," but didn't specify what they were joining, as a joke? And accidentally ended up with a wold-wide following, got labled a cult, decided their cause should be to encourage random acts of kindness, and ended up with a book deal.

I stumbled accross it on another cult-watch type forum and it was just so bizzare I had to check out their site. I don't know what to make of it. It doesn't *look* like what you'd typically call a cult... but I don't know much about it either.

Has anyone ever heard of this or know more about it? Are they just the happy-go-lucky group their site portrays them to be or is there something sinister lurking beneath the surface?
