What indeed is a "hate group"?
Is it a group that hates, or is it a group to be hated,or both?
Hate is an emotion, not an objective event.
Why is the pro white, Aryan Nations' listed as a "hate group" when the pro black, National association for the advancement of coloured people is not, when their aims are the same for their own people?
The defenition of a hate group is anything that the ruling regimen points it's finger at. In other words, it is anything that they find threatening to their rule.

As long as groups or individuals simply express their hate without violence and don't break the law they are within their protected right of free expression within the US.
But when they break the law that's another issue.
