Quoteapostate I told you what I thought had been accomplished. What do you think has actually been accomplished? Well, I did mention one example. And, really, I don't want to have to go through this whole thread just to find more examples. It's obvious that Zeuszor's 'fire' burns rather brightly and that, in itself, must weigh heavily on McKay's shoulders (somethi

QuoteapostateQuotezeuszor Hey aghast, if you really are McKay's brother, please tell us the first initial of the first name of the first person to call Alice McKay, the person who called her even before I did. Give us some kind of hint, if not an initial, give us something. Can you do that please, so that we can know you are genuine and not one of McKay's drones?? Take it from me Ze

Quotezeuszor... And yes, I told her exactly what I was going to do, that I was going to write a kind of article about it. She did not protest, and was quite open and frank. Folks, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's not resort to getting on our moralistic high-horses and judge Zeuszor as a liar until the validity of this statement can be verified. I can't help thinking how t

What Zeuszor has done (accomplished) here at this forum is not unprecedented. It would seem rather naive to try and 'protect' the wider milieu of Dave McKay. It is actually quite logical to investigate all threads of his life. I mean, if he were Charles Manson or Adolf Hitler some journalist at some point would have to make contact with their friends, associates, family, etc. As I have

If there's an issue with Dave's mum feeling/being violated by an outsider, there are laws to protect her. I really don't understand all the fuss about this level of disclosure. It's inevitable that peripheral links to the central character of Dave will be brought up. I can accept that strict and sensitive protocols be followed to ensure that 'the fruit stays ripe'

QuoteBlackhatFor new readers, Anyone contemplating joing the Jesus Christians is encouraged to go over all the pages on this forum, look at the information here: and do their own research into this cult before deciding to give all their worldly possessions to David McKay without ever getting their money back. They should also be aware of the strong possibilty of sustatining spirit

QuotematildaJack, I managed to see about 30 minutes on Bebo, but you have to scroll around a bit to find them. Oh, I forgot to mention that it took almost an hour to download that 4 minutes... I'll just have to wait patiently for a 'hard' copy.

As Zeuszor would say, it's all revealed by the fruit of the tree. What a long and arduous journey this uncovering of McKay and Co. has been. No doubt the JCs are resilient enough to 'close the hatches and regroup', feel sorry for themselves a little more and milk every drop out of their persecution complexes. No doubt it will also have the effect of planting valuable seeds of '

I think you'll find that this is supposed to be a parody. If not, then this guy needs some urgent medical attention. On second thought, I think he's harmless ... to everyone but himself (?). You know, he looks a lot like our mate, McKay.

Quotezeuszor ... nor does he have ANY good fruit to show for his life ... From my observations, he did manage to bring several beautiful people into this world by the seed of his loins. It may have been 'accidental' on his behalf, but they are 'good fruit'.

Is it possible to 'copy' the shows onto DVD? Or, if it's a copyright issue, does anyone know where to purchase the show? Unfortunately, I'm still on dial-up and live in rural Oz, so YouTube is not a viable option for me. Of course, I'd pay for freight, etc.

It doesn't seem totally out of place to discuss religion on this thread: Landmark labeled "Religion" in Sweden. Doesn't the title suggest that there is a link between LGATs and religion? To me, the defense of Christianity on this thread sounds much like the defense of Landmark by a Lekkie. I want to go on. I really do. It amazes me how we chose between being 'critical&

My need to divert from the 'main' topic was just to clarify my point. I felt strongly against the notion that one belief system was taking the high ground and that's not the aim of this message board. Anyway, it's a closed book now.

Yes, you're right Malcolm, but that's Oskar with a 'k'. However, my exposure to the JCs and any subsequent feeling towards the organisation is rather dilute and somewhat neutral. I mean, I don't harbour strong feelings of hate or resentment towards someone like McKay. For me it's about testimony and accountability. And that's happening. I suspect DM is delude

QuoteJack Oskar LarmSorry to sound like the Devil's advocate, but I don't consider a belief in Christian doctrine that different from Landmark's. Thanks for that, I'm aware of my tendency to be self-effacing. I think this trait of mine comes from years of frustrating debate with advocates of any strong belief system. I suppose you could say I have strong beliefs too, but I

QuoteON2 LFI hear ya. I was told once by a lekkie that alot of Christians are committed to Landmark too. I felt that that was a bit of an oxymoron. Needless to say I did not get an answer when I asked how a self proclaimed Christian is able to justify embracing something that is founded completely on deception, is taught in deception, and still think they're believing in the same Jesus tha

When I was invited to attend a Landmark Intro Forum (you know, that graduation thingy they have where they invite unsuspecting friends and relatives) this message board/forum gave me the neccesary information to be there with a fistful of questions. It's like walking into any place I may have to spend money, like walking into a shop to buy a new TV - I had questions I needed answering before

Regarding 'fraudulent' posts, I stand by every one of mine; if there's any doubt, the doubter can come and talk to me ... Yeah, this is a unique forum that, I believe, has been invaluable to 'countless' individuals. It's a great source of information on so many aspects of cults, ie destructive mind-control organisations. I enjoy spending a part of my research a

The quote was from The Womens Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets (BG Walker). I have mentioned it before and I find myself reading it now and then. Being an encyclopedia, categories are alphabetised and, therefore, this book is easy to pick up and just browse. However, I use it as a starting point for further research. Monotheism is certainly also a Jewish and Islamic concept, too. I particular

HELL EXPLAINED BY CHEMISTRY STUDENT The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid -term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well : Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endother

Sallie, I have to say that you're refreshingly open-minded for a Christian. I say that only because I've spent a lifetime thinking that Christians and other believers are narrow-minded cretins. I use that word cretin on purpose because its root comes from the very word Christian. Let me explain. From that blasphemous text again: Certain words reveal by their derivation some of the

Yeah, this is pretty stupid. Next someone will say our police force, our politicians, our local franchised baker is harbouring a cult. Within the structure of these organisations there is always the possibility of change. With regard to Keir's query about Star22's comment, it makes perfect sense what she said. My interpretation is that her boyfriend is a soldier fighting for our righ

QuotedeellymgYes, I was a jehovah's witness... I was born and raised in it til I was 16. I was lucky enough to get out early. My family has shunned me since. I've had the best conversation about the weather with my mother for the last 15 years when she bothers to contact me (every 2 to 3 years or 5) to find out whether I'm breathing or not. I was kicked out of my home at 18 and end

I think there are several levels to gossiping. All of them devoid of much substance. Most people don't like a gossip or a rumour-monger. And, I agree, there has to be an opportunity for the 'target' of gossip to be able to defend themselves. I think it's human to gossip. It's something that comes naturally to most of us and I think part of the reason is because we'

I suspect we've strayed quite far off topic... I also suspect that many of your 'strong' beliefs are based on faith, i.e. wanting to believe something regardless of any debate or contrary information. I think there is a whole body of work that would upset your world view and I suspect you're conditioned to think that this work/information is either blasphemous or the work o

Jehovah's Witnesses. Now there's a huge spiritual joke! Let me tell you a story ... A few years ago I was approached (as many are) by a couple of JW's named, Joseph and Mary. No kidding.
