Can anyone point me in the direction for finding some valid information on political cults? It seems that whenever this topic is brought up people usually point to terrorist groups or hate groups with cult like tendencies. Any suggestions you have on groups within this category would be very helpful.

I think that its important for us to understand the difference between a state which attacks the United States and a terrorist group which attacks the US. The reason for these attacks is much more complicated than pop culture or religion. These groups use terrorism because it is the only outlet that they see as being available to them.
