There have been some mentions throughout this thread about power dynamics and ethics, particularly around sexual relationships — I want to try to deepen that conversation a little. The illusion of consent is embedded in the clairvision’s culture and language. One of the recurring patterns I’ve seen — and experienced — is how spiritual authority gets masked as equality. Leaders or senior stu

The conclusions people are coming to in this thread don’t seem to depend much on their spiritual background. The red flags being raised (lack of informed consent,

I would have defended the school in much the same way while I was there. It wasn't till I was fully out that I really started to think about the abuses going on there in a different light, so I'm not surprised at the way some of the more recent posts defend the school. I will say that anyone who says they haven't seen these kind of things going on at the school who has been par

I find fairweatherbee's post a good example of what kind of gaslighting you should expect from people involved with clairvision. I saw things happen that people have written about here - they are not exaggerated or misleading from what I saw, they happened and continue to happen. I see people posting here in hopes of preventing more harm to other potential students, not creating harm for

Wow grok! To borrow a Clairvision phrase... that's a lot to unpack!

I came across a post by corboy in another thread that is very relevant to this discussion about Clairvision. I'm posting the bit that is most relevant here, but if you want to read the whole thread, it is here: I wish I had known more about abuse in psychotherapy circles and much of the information in this article before I got involved with Clairvision - these are the kind of things they

I agree mesche - looking back at my time in Clairvision and how my behaviors changed while I was there and some of the things I did to other students that includes many of the things others have highlighted in earlier posts - pushing people too hard in IST, being aggressive in interactions with other students thinking it would help them move through something in their process, being cruel because

LB_Slayer Thanks for your bravery in coming forward with this, I know how you feel about the threat of being blackmailed or having your life torn apart (maybe again) by Clairvision and their BS - it took me a long time to come around to posting here as well.... but as anyone reading this thread can see over the last year or so, more people are coming forward - you're certainly not the onl

I really appreciate everything people have shared here in the last several months, it's given me a lot to think about (and talk about with a therapist frankly) as I realize I didn't really process the fact that I had been in a cult until long after I left Clairvision. Nobody "joins a cult" knowingly. It's all about the deception and manipulation of the truth in the be

Something else that I recently remembered that seemed a bit fishy about the Clairvision School and Samuel Sagan that seems worth posting here - Samuel Sagan was not his given birth name. I heard his given name once a long time ago, and I can't remember what it was, only that it was very French sounding. I don't know exactly when or why (for real) he changed his name, but the reason

Yes, the Clairvision work does draw quite a bit from Rudolf Steiner. As far as the Christianity piece, there were times in live courses and in the written materials where quotes or ideas would be presented from Christian materials. Frequently the materials/courses would quote things/pull things from other religions or traditions as well. I didn't feel like there was an emphasis on any one re

Someone sent me the link for the Clairvision lawsuit, here it is for anyone else who is interested: I was part of the Clairvision school for several years, and I'm surprised that this seems to be the only lawsuit they've been involved in. There were alot of questionable things that I saw and heard personally while I was there, not to mention things I heard about from others.

At least one person said that the Clairvision school had been involved in lawsuits earlier in this thread, but I haven't been able to verify this so far. Maybe I live in a different country so I'm not getting the same search results for either Australia or the US (that's where their two main locations are as I understand)? And I think in the US you might have to search individu
