Grooming others, it’s like a propping up of their version of reality, gathering scaffold to hold a rickety structure. In day to day terms that structure would mean - a shitty sense of self. Noting though, I am not in the frame of mind that all people with a shitty sense of self are groomers. Some deal with it in a different way.

Hate to be all Freudy about this, but a literal added aspect of why people go to Mooji is down to their ‘ideal father” projection. I witness this with them, and also for the mother with followers to Amma. Consider it, spending many years unable to connect to either parent, not able to talk to them freely, openly, not accepted as you are, needing all of those things from a parent for many ye

QuoteHow then does the brain differentiate the real from the imagined? The way the brain processes information is fundamentally different when we perceive information from our senses compared to what is self-generated within the brain. What the brain receives from our senses is known as ‘afferent information’ and simply means, information travelling towards the brain. The brain can self-generate

QuoteGenerally speaking, QAnon spread because social media algorithms allowed it to, feeding the theory to susceptible users. @wphillips49 has an amazing story on this This tweet is interesting, I do not doubt at all that algorithms helped, and that in itself is questionable, however the most helpful to the cause thing I observed was literally the people who shared the materials, they have en

My thoughts are that people come out of ARG’s all of the time, it is an often publicly used PR tool.. unfortunately preys on the natural human propensity toward fanaticism. As with anything, the only person who can click ‘oh it was just bull shit’ is the person realising themselves via whatever avenue provides it, and whenever that happens. It couldn’t be forced. Force, that would be the probl

QuoteMy Question to You: How do we help Q followers once they break free and/or the reality of the Q cult is unmasked? Advise them to educate themselves on the historical role of public relations in society. They will likely already be avid you tube researchers, they have been trained into it. Use this existing element. If they do decide to search (it is always possible that they won’t

Hi Resilient, Thank you for sharing these interesting bits of info, all things I can learn from. I had a little laugh with the Mercury retrograde comment you made as that is relatable. Musicians, particularly younger musicians will often put new work out based on the assumption that it will be more fruitful in gains if released at specific moon cycle times. They tend to release less when

Hi Zizls, I can elaborate, in the quote here you mention QuoteThe cases I see meditation having negative effects usually involve meditating for the wrong reasons: the belief that "there's something wrong with me, and I have to un-wrong myself by meditating." QuoteA more healthy attitude IMO is to meditate because you love connecting with the stillness that underlies all exp

Good, because strong will is needed more than ever in today’s world - heh, to add, perhaps why narcissism is on the rise. .. and it’s true for me, it is that small engagement, the small experience and a return to daily life as usual, no better no worse, but the experience, because without the return to regularity there is the mess involved. That’s where things too have gone wrong. The myst

Hi Zizls, No, I’m not interested in writing a book about it. Re the teacher point you made, I spent six years with a decent one who is now no longer available, and my option after that is no longer trustworthy, so I figured I’d bump into another along the way purely because in my own research terms, I’d need to emulate the previous setting framework in order to check in on differences. Decided this morning, I’m interested in taking myself around the merry go round once again, it will be an interesting way to note any differences in the basics of the journey.. and to see if it lands me in the same psychological and physical place again, and at what points in connection to previously. I spent a long time getting myself better, so it’s a big risk but for my own research, one

Plenty of hits in this, but no discussion? Manipulation revolving around moon cycles remains in a fair few spiritual circles, and some of the arts... and not to forget, people who have a strong need to control. It is an extremely old belief in witchcraft, that still does the rounds today.

I have recently started to read this affirming book, I say affirming because even just a short way in, it already shares some of the observations that I have made in my own research. Despite a few little things that I have to personally work around, there is a wealth of information inside that will help untwist the twisted worlds that each of us has been exposed to.. and likely internalised.

I am sorry to hear about the man that you were acquainted with who has ended his life, it is very sad to hear about, I am sure that you are right that he is not the only one by far. Has anyone set up a website or something similar that people may be able to find using google if they look for it? A social media account or two might also help others connect with the site and share information.

QuoteKaia Ra never goes into any detail at all about how she escaped these supposed trafficking and military programs. No details. I've read many memoirs of real cult survivors who have escaped, she has nothing in common with those. Actual survivors have specifics. She also is not providing any type of encouragement or road map for other people who may have to flee abusive situations. Y

This is a great thread, I’m glad to see it, there is always another side to every coin as the saying goes. Much like cigarettes, I think meditation / mindfulness practices etc will go the same way. Everyone is told to believe that it is a great thing, really cool and then one day it will be a bad thing, with its health hazard labelling. I have my own saying about it too, that if you ‘me

Yes that would be a benefit wouldn’t it, I had not initially realised Rajneesh / Osho was a master hypnotiser too. For me Sheela and Osho are a great of example of when two manipulative persona collide. It does not endure due to the power struggle.
