thanks for this. These people are just beyond reproach. Why are they trying to crush people's natural minds and thinking processes? Human cognition and consciousness is a wonder of Nature, its the greatest thing in the universe since pop-tarts. So why do they want to crush it? To create obedient followers. Hey, they are allowed to think, and write books, and sell their junk. But not y

Its interesting the different ways people can perceive things if they have a personal iron in the fire. For example, I have not seen anyone criticize the valid idea of "Mindfulness" on this site. Mindfulness is a legit thing, and it is being studied. MBCT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy is already being developed. But Eckhart Tolle is NOT teaching Mindfulness, and certainl

"csp" is clearly working overtime as a Apologist for Eckhart Tolle, and is actually doing many of the same tactics as Tolle, one of them being creating a web of confusing thought distortion. Eckhart Tolle does this for only one reason. If Tolle were to have a specific Mindfulness Practice, or whatever, then people learn it, and then never come back! In his early years, he learned h

I made a post about Eckhart Tolle Hypnotist. That is actually very revealing about Eckhart Tolle. It appears Tolle planned and created the oversold ticket and seating problems on purpose, to trigger emotions in people, and then use that against them to make them feel NEW AGER GUILT about not being enlightened like Tolle says he is. (meanwhile Tolle is quickly escorted in and out in a pri

I'm not attacking Guruphiliac personally...I think its terrific he criticizes all of these Sri Sri Rama-lama Ding-Dong fraud Gurus. That's good. And its good he criticizes Eckhart Tolle, as the media has given Eckhart Tolle a free pass. But Byron Katie actually appears to be far worse than Eckhart Tolle, in terms of her methods and organization. Why is he so harsh on Tolle and so

Its strange what Oprah is doing promoting this stuff, but it does make sense. She stated she believed in the Christ Consciousness idea, which basically means YOU can all get the Powers attributed Jesus Christ at some point...literally. Not just Enlightenment, but walking on water, turning loaves into fishes, Thought-Reading, and all of the other supernatural powers in the New Testament. The

jj, thx for the fascinating info. for what its worth, often just posting/writing can help a person get their own thoughts-voice back, over time. I think you are right on the money when you say Byron Katie gets people to doubt all of their own thinking, so then she can take over. Its very dangerous to start doubting all of your own thinking. What else do we have in life? I can't express
