It seems like "letgodbetrue" is looking for an excuse to preach. All that was said is that "Passover is a Jewish holiday," not a Christian one. The issue is not about "Christian faith" at all. And the Jewish historical identity of Passover is just a simple fact and not a matter of "debate" or "personal beliefs." "Christian commentar

I have handled about 500 interventions in the past twenty years. No. Deprgramming is not about "abuse." The purpose of a cult intervention through "deprogramming," is similar to a substance abuse situation and intervention. A family is simply trying to help someone they love. Each faith has the right to determine the meaning of its own holidays and its religious symbols. Passover is not a Christian holiday. I really am not interested in a debate about your beliefs. The so-called "Passover" presentation done by JFJ places Jesus within an established ritual observance that predates Christianity by centuries. The claims made that there are hidden meanings behind traditional understandings of the Passover is without precedent. JFJ also does this regarding the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah. Again, these holidays and their ritual significance

Any group can report alleged crimes to the authorities. Obviously victims and their families are frequently the source for such information.
