I am familar with this stuff for about 7 years (to make this short). I think the PUA community has become a exploitive sociopathic industry. No one is safe. Not your female friends. Not your sisters. Not your mother. Not even yourself, even straight people are being targetted (Not that I have anything against someones sexual orientation or anything).

QuotethistleHi All Keir you wrote Its rather a common myth that destructive organizations cannot do any good deeds. This doesnt mean we should automatically dismiss any criticism of these groups, dissenting voices or that it's impossible for them to have any destructive elements to them. ) brilliant point! absolutely profound! simple straightforward yet quintessential! it reminds

This is a good find notanantiGnostic! Great work. Typical tactic for them to supress information & critical discussion. And it once again validates my point on how these type of organizations supress dissenting opinions. From speaking to exmembers of other Weor based sects I found this to be a common tactic among them.

Your welcome Quetzal. I think you can also safely submit 'Testamonies' of ex members. As long as you can have a disclaimer that states something like: "these views or opinions dont neccesarily reflect those of the site owner and its up to the reader's discretion to believe in them or not." etc.

QuoteQuetzalHi guys, We have already received several complains about defamation. It seems that Baron´s lawyers are pushing hard in order to stop our efforts to continue our job. As we are on a free host it seems quite difficult to keep the site open. As far as I know, they are claiming to the server owners, threating them with claims in order to force them to close our web otherwise they w

Quoteseekinglight.... Gnosis enabled me to break out of a life of ....... It should be stated that Aun Weor's notion of "Gnosis" has no direct linage to the historic Gnostics (a term I believe was coined by modern academics to give references to those historic religious sects). Quite often Aun Weor supporters make statments like "we Gnostics" "the Gnostic...."

QuoteseekinglightYou have made it very clear that, as Keir said, this thread is only for those ex-members who have something negative to express, and that therefore any perspective or experience which falls outside that category is not important or worth any consideration. .... At the same time pro Aun Weor sites and supporters block, drown out, dismiss dissenting opinions as not worthy of any c

QuoteEmma CInteresting about them having support from the government in the Czech Republic. Here in the UK they still have their charity status, although I have written letters to the charity commission and so have many other people I know. I know it may seem like a small gesture, but it was letters of complaint which lead to the withdrawal of the Edward Penney cult group's charity status, a

QuoteFree_955.... But if a person is mentally hurt in some way or another by an organization, they have the right to express how they feel so that they can reclaim peace. Quoteseekinglight... I only wish that there was peace between people no matter what their beliefs are or what organisation they are or are not a part of. Of course Aun Weor was quite open about his polemics, propaganda, attacks and put downs against other spiritual paths/organizations and of those students who dont believe what he did. I find it odd that you would make such a statement but yet r

Quoteseekinglight .. My reason for posting is simply to show anyone hearing about the gnostic movement for the first time, that not everyone has had the experiences you speak of, and I and many others that I personally know or knew, have only ever had a positive experience, regardless of whether they have left in the end or not. This is not a case of a single person who had bad experiences with

Quoteseekinglight.. I would have been happy to discuss more about it, but from the responses I received – the intensive personal questioning and also assumptions made about my intentions, I am placed rather like an accused on a judgment bench, which is not a position I want to be in so I don’t wish to post again, at least not in response to an interrogation. I dont totally believe their intent

Quotescaro It is possible that the teaching of AMORC being a 'black lodge' comes from either Krum-Heller or Reuben Swinburne Clymer of the FRC. I will take that as a possibility. From what I know the mentioning of AMORC by Aun Weor is in his book: "The Revolution of Beelzebub"

I'm just curious does anyone know of the conflict between the two organizations or individuals? I have heard of Aun Weor refering to Amorc as "a Black Lodge" (paraphrasing). Apparently Weor apparently had some beef with Amorc. (Although I see both Weor and Amorc as being cultish. I sorta wonder if they ever borrowed inductrination methods from one another.)

Everyone who hasnt read George Orwells 1984 should do so. There are some valuable lessons to learn from that book and the historic back ground of the book. Its quite common for cultish groups to redefine regular meanings of words and sentences. Qoute: "War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength."

Theres stuff on wikipedia and the web on "Plastic shamans" or fake 'shaman' types out there. I have not heard of Yaqui Indians building sweat lodges (this alone I would find highly suspect). My gut feeling is that they were trying to cash in with the Carlos Castenada* theme by mentioning "Yaqui". They also sound like some of these new age shaman type of groups
