Oprah is a successful talk show host, who dropped the "Geraldo, Jerry Springer" crap just in time to be considered legitimate. If you remember, she used to be just like them. Then, she started giving stuff away, and man did she become popular!!!

Who cares what Jesus supposedly said? And by the way, the devil is a myth and hell is the dung heap outside of Jerusalem (gehena) which burns continually. Who gives a shit about religion. Drink a beer, smoke a joint, crank up some music and enjoy life. Take a load off.

What if no one worried about whether or not there was a God? What if people were just themselves--people, and accepted one another for what and who they are? Would not the world be a better place? Without all the hang-ups, would we not be more human and humane?

I was never depressed until I left the Assembly. I am still struggling with depression and anxiety 25 years later. I have to take a cocktail of prescription drugs just to function. I never seriously considered suicide until leaving the cult, and I never had some of the mental problems (bad thoughts) before leaving.

How many folks who used to be in the assemblies still believe in God? How many are still involved in fundamentalist groups or churches? How many are in mainline churches?
