I didn't say he was a prophet. Are you getting all these negative impressions from the original Gurdjieff/Ouspensky material?

I read the Gurdjieff books years ago. I found the ideas interesting and beneficial. Never attended a group. Unfortunately, what happens is a visionary, or prophet comes along. They teach for awhile.
