WEll people just like to do these things so it seems like they're doing something worth doing. I doubt they'll ever be able to "Name" a Messiah. Only God can do that.

I've always hated ouija boards. One time, it just went on moving on it's own. We never played it again. :\ So I guess tehre is some unexplainable truth to it. It just depends on who is hosting.

QuoterrmoderatorNothing. Sounds like a rumor or "urban myth." Stories about Satanism are often false. A friend of mine bought a house and they found all these eerie signs in the house. Throughout the day, they found all sorts of hair in certain areas of the house. And they came across a book on Satanism. That night, when the lights were off, they saw all these figures paintin

I don't think the churches per se can be destructive. You can't blame a structure for your pollution can you?

Oprah has been Turlington's friend for years and years now. So maybe that would explain it? Do you think she's promoting more of the physical side though?

I think Galakiah said it quite powerfully. And these celebrities join these shows and try to get others converted to make them feel some worth and to make them feel that "hey, for once maybe i'm on the right path".

What is it that drives these people to do this? I guess it's a part of the search for truth.

Hmm. It's very difficult to find the book nowadays. But I agree, it's the approach taken and the gullibility of people approached. One must be so manipulative and very messed up to do this.

Well.. not necessarily. I guess it depends on what you define as "cult". The definitions in some dictionaries are pretty broad.

Has anyone ever read this book? What are your thoughts on it? I've had many arguments with friends about this book. If the thoughts on it are correct or not. If the simplicity it carries is what converts people. I'm probably posting this is the wrong forum, but I thought it would go good here since there's a following this book has created. I've seen it break up a con

I don't see the point of karma without reincarnation? How can good or bad come back to you unless you are able to continue it sometime? What if a person isnt' able to reap their good/bad in this lifetime? Would all that be invalid?

This is a late reply. But someone I know had the same problem with calls. It's like an addiction, they may have brainwashed her and got her addicted to something. To take that addiction away, everything has to stop. Take away her books, change her phone number, bring her to a different part of the world. I hope she's better now?

CPS won't really work unless the people who work in them really care. Some just work there cause it sounds good. Isn't the whole thing just a part of freedom of expression? freedom to do what an individual wants cause it's their life? Parents could sometimes force their pre-teens into it, but if the pre-teens want to do it and the parents don't want them to... nothing mu
