RRMODERATOR: Can you please remove my post with the personal information regarding "Amy Sayer"? Apparently someone or several persons have decided it appropriate to attack her personally. That was absolutely not my intention and I want to thank the people who thought this a good idea! But it was my mistake for thinking there might be mature individuals interested in actual ch

Well, I take it people again here do not want face their perpetuators. We are in the "ME TOO" era guys. This is a unique opportunity and I am saddened that no one wants to be part of what could be huge change. I'm not saying anyone of us would go back - OF COURSE NOT! But knowing what we know, I would think that at least some of you would want to seize the opportunity to possib

Hi Nancy, I went to the LA school COL in the 90's. Probably a bit after your son as I will be 36 this year, but it's possible that I know who he is. My name is Anne. ~Anne

Hi Everyone, I have not been on for a long time, nearly a year. I needed to stop thinking about it. I also realized there is nothing I can do. And keep moving forward. But I wanted to tell you and everyone here that something interesting is happening at CTLW. My parents called me today to say that Gary Hargrave is wanting to changing things there. Apparently, there has been a revelation

Oh, Flossie May! I AM SORRY that all that happened to you! But I know for me it is very relieving to write out some of the pain. I suggest that you do in fact write a book!!! Your story would certainly make for an interesting read! And don't worry about your grammar, you got the points across perfectly! There are many of us here that have dealt with similar situations. Peace to you. I

Has anyone considered a large group letter writing campaign? Flooding the LW with letters from former members all over the country? Explaining how we believe they have twisted the scriptures for their gain and they are not winning souls for Jesus. And hurting people along the way? Or is everyone mostly scared of family ties still in LW and blow back from that? I mean this is what we do as

I have gone through many years of ignoring, denying God and seeking other forms of spiritual awareness or toying with atheism and Lilith-ism (extreme feminism) trying to kill my deep emptiness with things that can never fulfill me, drinking, drugs, "relationships". Always distracting myself but I can say honestly, that everything has always come back to Him. I couldn't deny that on

Thanks Lily. None of it would matter now to me if my dad wasn't still involved and my mom hadn't chosen to be buried next to John in the Shiloh cemetery. A place she never once visited when I knew her. Somewhere I can never visit her gravesite, a place she never lived or has any family connections too. It's just so weird. I think that hurts most.

Lilyrose, NickelandDimed: I understand and frankly I'm glad to talk about it!!! No, I have not had a chance to dig through too many old posts on here. I will try to make time for that. Hello all, I've been trying to follow the threads here. I'm glad I found this discussion forum. I was born into S. California church and subsequently left CTLW (they combined for Sunday service while I was in my teens) about 16 years ago after getting married and moving 3000 miles away. It took me years to realize that CLTW was indeed a cult. Mainly b/c I started attending other Chr
