I am involved in a case of verbal and psychological abuse on another forum, and I have run across an internet organisation group called Psychjourney. Their web site is www.psychojourney.com . They advertise that you can be a guild leader or a guild member, and you can get a Guild Leader's Media Kit. Here are the names of their guild leaders: Dr. Joel D. Block Garry Cooper, Jon Filitt

 Wow! I just got verbally (textually) blasted by a member (call them Ham) on the Freedom of Minds forum. Ham kept accusing me of making false statements and of giving therapeutical advice to another member (Blue) who had asked for opinions about a crisis situation. Ham said I was making false generalisations, and making statements that could cause somebody harm. My response had been app

I found the International Cult Survivors Association to be very helpful in providing a public means of support to express feelings and emotions experienced in the recovery process. They are having their annual conference on June 22-24 in Denver, Colorado. All cult survivors are invited to attend. You can find out more information about it here: Part of the conference is an exhibition of art

Well, in my educated opinion, R Howard-Browne is not necessarily a fake, but indeed to me he is a flake, and quite a deceptive and harmful person. I have watched several videos of his services that were held at Kenneth Copeland's center, and at somewhere else, I can't remember. The 'spirit' that comes over him and the people that he ministers to I believe is an influence

My husband is in Turkey. I will ask him if he has heard anything about this woman. According the the cult website, they have a group in the town where my husband lives. The cult experts tell me that if you think it is a cult, it is! I came out of a missionary organisation, which has cultic characteristics, and there was never any money involved as far as the missionaries were concerned.

I am struggling with the idea of 'going public' with my recent abusive experience with an overseas mission group. Everyone else in the whole world thinks this group is just great. As far as I know, there has been no claim that this group is abusive before. They do have a big problem keeping missionaries. As a result of the abusive experience, I have clinical depression and

Your story is amazing, however I am disgusted :x to read of the unbiblical events that occured while you were involved with Maranatha. I am a recovering former cult member myself  , and I am wondering why you waited so long to publish this list of incriminating behaviour? I have been unable to 'go public' with my own list of abusive behaviours by those in my former organisation.

It is really good for you to continue to 'publicise' your one-to-one cult experience with Cherie. Do you think she will ever be able to get some psychological help for herself? I am wondering if anyone could recommend a source or a web site for her to communicate with? In other words, what is a good source for help for cult leaders.

QuoterrmoderatorI have received very serious complaints about this group and they have a deeply troubled history. What is the best way to post 'complaints' about groups that are not listed on your we site or who have no previous reputation of being cult like? Should it be via email to you, or a thread on this discussion board? Thanks.

Have you heard of any other people who were party to her abusive practices? I was with you for one week at WS. It is good to see that you are continuing the healing process. QuoteljTo some, what I write may seem way out there, but this is the way it was and is. I am wondering if you are aware of the other organisations that have message boards dealing with cults? I have never heard of the one you were in, and you might want to spread the word a little about the details that you shared here. Thanks so much for making me aware of this abusive group.

I've been participating in this forum for about a month, and I have been looking for comments or topics on the TACF and CTF ministries. I have not been able to find any comments on these two churches/groups. Perhaps such a discussion is old hat now, and I am just several years behind the fray. However, I would like to know what anyone's opinion is of the recent practices of TACF and Cat
