What you say is true Larry Bobo.Excellent post. I read in ghargraves bio he was raised in Hawaii and the "headquarters/base" for tlwf is Honolulu. What years did he live in the islands? I first met hargrave back in early '70's. I know he was a cop in Redlands, but it's the first time I've heard about the Hawaii connection. Will someone enlighten me?

I remember married couples being directed to divorce their spouse and remarry someone else. Can anyone explain how that came about?

Welcome ditch_digger. Can't help you with the video. I am curious about what has been said concerning the history of the walk. Were subjects like the silver mine, storing food, third generation, the many divorces, Gary Hargraves divorce etc.? The list of fails is too long for this forum. What have current members been told about the condition of the walk before jrs died and the subsequent i

In reference to my earlier post and the responses I want to assure everyone the decision to be sent to Az. was ours to accept or dismiss. I wrote based upon the context of the time (1982). Did the idea to go to Arizona originate with my wife and I? No, it didn't. She was a teacher the school and I was helping in sheparding the valley church and school. We gladly accepted the move and we didn

A warning from Christ. Luke 11:33-34 "The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.…" Our focus should be on The Light of the world, not the next "thing" God is supposedly doing. Testimony of John the Baptist. "

Larry: I agree with what you are saying. I also thought of this. John the Apostle (the disciple whom Jesus loved) mistook an angel for Christ and bows down before him. The angel stops him and tells him to worship God instead. This is John, he knew Jesus well. Peter tells the crowd the man was healed by Christ's name, not by him. There are many more examples. My point is this; In each instanc

As far as "pastors" directing peoples lives. Read what Christ said concerning a brothers request. Luke 12:12-14 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.” Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” Say what? Here is the Creator of everything not interfering with this brothers desire. My point is this

A BIG thank you to paleface, FCSLC, and changedagain for your thoughtful replies to what I posted. I understand what you're saying and it helped me.
