How old is your friend? Would calling her parents help? I don't have any words to break the trance. If you are her friend, hang in there with her untill she comes down from the high. Do not go to her Tuesday night or her seminars. Get as much info printed as possible and be ready talk to her about the experience. Get educated, for yourself, on the lingo and the techniques used by LEC.

Hope: I don't think they have changed the format since 12/02, but clearly the LF leader has discretion based on our different experiences. Was yours in the Alexandria Virginia area (as mine was) or elsewhere? Wow: It sounds like your LF leader was a tyrannt. Do not allow questions, particularly about intentionally complex or confusing vocabulary or “distinctions”. Intimidate those asking questions by (1) requiring them to ask in front of the group at the microphone, and (2) telling them that their “racket” is to analyze.
