In the early 90's I took Justin's Sterling's Women's Weekend and was lured into joining the Family of Women, which I became heavily involved in for three years. Thankfully I managed to get out when I saw that they were demanding more and more of my time, energy, and resources. I was the head of enrollment in NY for a short time, and they told me that if I left that position my

This is copied from another thread but gives important information.... Listing of LGATs and their founders new Posted by: Concerned Oz () Date: November 12, 2004 05:14AM The following is a list from the website below which may help in investigating the origins of particular groups. The writer links these groups to the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California. I am not endorsing the view

The individual who contributed about differences in the prior topic of MDI and Family of Women tries to make a point. When reading his post you can hear how important MDI is to him. He invested so much time and energy in it. I feel bad for him and hope that one day he can see the light... However, to follow his thinking for a bit, let's say that the groups have truly split apart. To use

Another Lifespring participant experience. See "Do what it takes" By a former member of Lifespring's "Leadership Team" I was involved in Lifespring from 1981-1984. I went through all its trainings, including the Leadership program; plus I assisted in several trainings. The Lifespring office was located in San Rafael. I resided in Palo Alto at that time. W

Free_Thinker: You say, "I can't help but notice a prejudice against the MKP. Would you be willing/able to look at it unbiased?" My opinion regarding MKP is based upon the historical facts, both regarding MKP and other LGATs. The evidence concerning the systemic problems with LGATs like MKP is overwhelming. For example, James Arthur Ray, an LGAT leader, is currently doing t

I would like to know if anyone has any recent experiences with Family of Women and Justin Sterling? It's been a long time since my last post on this subject and I wonder if anything has changed via organization structure , recruitment mechanisms, mind control techniques, or otherwise. Or, if it worked for Sterling before, why should he rebuild the machine? Comments are welcome!

For further information, please read the post my wife and I added over a year ago in this forum "Large Group Awarnesss training" entitled "FAMILY OF WOMEN" (Justin Sterling's Women's Division). lovingredneck: Interesting. But the Sterling weekend has a history of complaints, allegations of abuse and quite a bit of bad press for such a relatively small and obscure company. Sterling is a for-profit privately owned company run by Justin Sterling, previously known as Arthur ''Artie'' Kasarjian. See Many women have complained about their spouse or boyfrien

It's unfortunate that you have taken the measure of the Men's Weekend from men of such weak character. I did the Men's Weekend a number of years ago, and I continue to have regular contact with a large group of Sterling men. I have never heard Justin or any man from the weekend advocate, endorse, encourage or condone infidelity. That kind of behavior is not looked upon kindly by

hello very concerned. my guy was in sterling from last june until dec. it was awful for me because everything i was reading on this site, he was denying, although it was all true. it was like he had to protect justin and all his goons from ME. i was wild for awhile, in your face kickass about his involvement. even though he got out he still had a smartass cocky attitude for a l

As predicted, the roots of ManKind Project are connected with Werner Erhard, EST, and Landmark Education, coming directly from Justin Sterling from which come a constant stream of serious complaint reports. --------------------------- Rich Tosi, Bill Kauth and Ron Hering "Sterling was an early disciple of Werner Erhard and the “est” (Erhard Seminar Training, and Latin for “it is”) e

First off, I want to say that RickRoss.com is awesome. I first came across the site when I was being recruited for a pushy and secretive organization called the Sterling Men, run by a certain A. Justin Sterling. Because of RickRoss.com, I figured out that it was a cult, that A. Justin Sterling was a fraud, and that I should spend my time and money on more worthwhile causes. The info on the sit

As I recall Justin Sterling, aka Arthur ''Artie'' Kasarjian, reportedly was convicted for some sort of fraudulent scheme in the 1970s, according to a news report done by NBC News in the 1990s about Sterling.

Hi sparky. I regretfully must confess that I fully participated in every ritual I was asked to perform. At the very end of the weekend, when I was delirious with sleep deprivation, I was told to strip naked, cover myself with war paint, beat drums, and dance about like some wild heathen...I complied. As far as camp fires are concerned, these usually take place during the mens circles, whic

Hello Hattah. I am a "graduate" of the sterling men's weekend, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the sons of Maine are a subsidiary group to the sterling institute of relationships. While the sons of maine may be in sympathy with other LGATs such as Landmark Education, they are basically owned and operated by the sterling institute of relationships. Understanding w

To whom it may concern: If you are not familiar with Sterling Institute of Relationship see Sterling is a for-profit privately owned company run by Justin Sterling, previously known as Arthur ''Artie'' Kasarjian. He is not a licensed counselor nor a marriage and family therapist and his weekend seminar is what many commonly call an LGAT (large group awareness training).

I did my Men's Weekend in July of 2006 at the urging of an old friend. My marriage was in trouble and he felt strongly that the Weekend could help me. Despite my trepidations and some horror stories on this website I went forward and did the Weekend. Did it solve all of my problems? Of course not. But 3 years on my marriage is definitely in a better place, as is my career. My relationship

Over a year and a half ago our lives were turned upside down when I discovered what kind of group FOW (Sterling Institute of Relationship) was all about. Its invariable that whenever Google alerts cue members of a group, they come and start their PR. The same thing has happened on other websites where criticism of OneTaste was posted, so at some point they will probably come and post here too. The bottom line is that Nicole Daedone has no training or credentials to be fooling around with live-in sex groups, therapy, experimental communities, M

STERLINE INSTITUTE of RELATIONSHIP; the epitomy of Abusive and Controlling Relationships. csp: Are you serious? Your apology for Tolle avoiding his past is not believable. Adopting the name of a "German mystic"? His "story" may remind many of other self-styled gurus that have also changed their names, e.g. Werner Erhard, Justin Sterling, etc. Tolle's bio makes him seem flaky and not very credible.

Rick, I don't "support" the Sterling weekend. All I said was I got value out of it and knew a lot of others who did as well. I could write a book on all the things I disagree with about what SIR does and the way they do it but it still gave me a unique space to step outside of my 9-5 life. I certainly never implied Justin was accountable. I have found him to be anything but.
