If anyone wants to subject Robbins to further analysis, you can hear a "New Year" speech here for free. This webpage below explains how to listen to it. You have to "register", but just do it from a throw-away anonymous email address. He does many many different techniques in this speech. He is reframing business troubles and lawsuits he had, he mentions personal thing

I think probably that one of Robbins main Rationalizations to himself, maybe, is that he feels he is teaching people a "lesson" that they will never forget for the rest of their lives. The "lesson" is that we are all being profoundly "influenced" by advertising, media, culture, and even the religions and philosophies we live by. He takes people, and if they are s

By the way, the Robbins people found this thread so damaging to their commissioned sales process on the Robbins web-board, that they DELETED all links to this web-board or this thread. If anyone tried to post a link, they would likely still delete it. Its worth a try though. Someone could start a thread asking some general questions about Robbins work... and then maybe they could post some

Well i am glad this board turned up under a search for Tony Robbins Cult! Ehhhxxcellent..... The Robbins board used to allow SOME criticism, but a while back they moved to a totally censored board, and they literally delete almost all complaints before they post, as it is moderated. Before, there was lots of negative stuff being posted, and lots of positive stuff too of course. But they got

(Below are some telling excerpts from a webpage...those of us who know what's going on will recognize what is being done here...) Anthony Robbins helped celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone and Nelson Mandela to realise their potential. So I wondered if he could do the same for me. After I told people I had enrolled on the course I was asked all sorts of questions. Is he a charla

Great is not good enough, you must push yourself to have an Outstanding day, everyday! ;-) Well, i am glad you read the Unconscious Influence thread. That's what Robbins has always said since the beginning. He knows how different people are, and he sends out many messages to many different types of people at once. Its like having a fishing line, with 18 lures on it, for different types of fish. For instance, the only reason he started adding in New Age Quack alternative health stuff, was to tap into that market. Now that is a totall

So sadly, i watched the rerun of this Cruise on Oprah thing. Knowing the entertainment business, you know that these things do not happen by accident, its all thought-out before hand. It was a PR stunt. Using your personal relationships to get into the hearts and mind of people, of course mainly women on that show. Give the people what they want. But at some point, i think the public ha

I just saw some TV story about Cruise and Katie. This is another example where Katie is not likely a cult victim directly. She is coming out with her first feature film, so this is all a PR stunt to turn her into the newest hottest actress in the world. Pretty smart really, in a PR way. In one step, she is world famous, and has set up her career for at least 10 years. Sometimes i think a

Well, i think this phoney Kaballah is a scam, and i think Madonna is in on the scam, for her own interests. She is selling this crud to children, and has always cynically manipulated the public for her own gain, going from one thing to the other. Even Warren Beatty talked about how nutty she was in that crappy documentary she made, where she is deep-throating bottles, and other things of that

MRS. EDDY IN ERROR I feel almost sure that Mrs. Eddy's inspiration--works are getting out of repair. I just finished reading Mark Twains Christian Science, and i would recommend that anyone involved with ANY type of cult, or cultish leader, read that book. Its only about 100 small pages. This book should be required reading for any cult watcher. Every cult needs a Mark Twain to take them apart, and show how the cult operates. Here is the entire book FOR FREE. It can be posted on any of your we

(Mark Twain) Readers are not allowed to copy out passages and read them from the manuscript in the pulpit; they must read from Mrs. Eddy's book itself. She is right. Slight changes could be slyly made, repeated, and in time get acceptance with congregations. Branch sects could grow out of these practices. Mrs. Eddy knows the human race, and how far to trust it. (Mark Twain) Largely speaking, I have read acres of what purported to be Mrs. Eddy's writings, in the past two months. I cannot know, but I am convinced, that the circumstantial evidence shows that her actual share in the work of composing and phrasing these things was so slight as to be inconsequential. Where she puts her literary foot down, her trail across her paid polisher
