Hi there Oz, great stuff. I only want to make one point of clarification, for personal reasons. Buckminster Fuller is a man who's work I have studied for many years. I have literally read all of his books. What has happened, is some jackasses have taken Bucky's work, and totally perverted it in an attempt to gain credibility. Buckminster Fuller was the designer of the Geodesic D

Bad news story here. One buddy of mine became so obnoxious and confrontational with his Landmarking, i warned him numerous times to stop it, he just kept at it. Bottom line, the friendship ended. Coz

Hi Oz, Its extremely interesting how Kiyosaki seems to have expunged "Money and You" from his life story. He talks about having an "international education company" but keeps it nice and general. There also seems to be very few references on the internet about it. You might consider sending some of your insider info on Kiyosaki to John Reed, who wrote up that massi

As far as the "Porsche", it could very well be he has cut some sort of "deal" with someone to promote it. The other motivational guys often build SPECIFIC cars into their Goal-Setting workshops. Robbins would talk about a Mercedes XLXX (or whatever). It would not surprise me if these guys cut some type of contra-deal with someone in the car business. Coz

I don't have time for a full answer, but here is a quick one. There is an initial HIGH, but it wears off. After some Adversities, and Time, the smoking comes back, the eating comes back, the drinking comes back, usually. That's just human nature. Humans do NOT make permanent change of long-standing psychological problems at these types of events. That's the "scam".

My morbid fascination with these charlatans seems to know no bounds. This Kiyosaki is just not bad, he is extremely bad. What he has done is deliberately target people who know almost nothing about personal finance. The reason is, if he goes after people who know what they are doing, he has more competition, and also has to deal with people who will figure out he is a scammer. So he has deli

This Robert Kiyosaki, who wrote Rich Dad Poor Dad, and a bunch of other books, has been exposed as running a type of LGAT personality cult. He is supposedly a former est grad, and WAS a Tony Robbins grad. He is using ALL of the same techniques, and writing his deceptive little books of GET RICH QUICK, as BAIT, to upsell all of his Seminars, Tapes, Books, Coaching, etc etc to folks who are finan

Also, Penn and Teller have a Showtime TV show called Bullshit! (US only) Which takes on all sorts of nonsense. Perhaps they would do a show on LGAT's in general, or even Landmark? These guys are very smart, and tough, and gutsy. They just might do it. If someone has a good document, you could send it to their producers, follow-up, etc. Coz

I agree that spreading the Meme of the coercive persuasion techniques of these people is a great project. Books on the subject are a great start, and then those Docs and even a good Hollywood movie would be great. Being in show-biz though, i know Hollywood is about making money, and is run by weasels, so you are more likely to get a pro-cult movie out of Hollywood! Or they would do some type o

Unfortunately, these types of Hucksters have operated since the beginning of time. Maybe some of the first cults were breakaway Tribes? I don't know. Whatever laws were passed, they would adapt. Most of them use "freedom of religion" to hide behind. They would just be like Scientology, and call it a Religion. How can one control freedom of religion? Impossible. Probably t

Is it possible for people to have almost no knowledge of the Advanced Techniques of persuasion being done to them by a Master Persuader? Is it possible for them to listen to tapes, and never meet a "Leader", and yet fall almost totally under the "spell" and control of this Leader? Could this Leader actually be a ruthless manipulator, a wolf in sheeps clothing? Could t

The FTC has moved against one of the people recommended by Tony Robbins in his "Greens" business. Alejandro Guerrero (a.k.a. Alex Guerrero). (A "Dr" of Chinese Medicine). Robbins recommends Alex Guerrero, and also says "Alex is the closest thing to a genius I have seen" in his current program called "Get The Edge". What a relief. These guys are finall

If you look a little back into history, these groups want to get the US out of their country and region. The US has set up puppet govt's, and controlled the entire region and its resources (oil) for a very long time. So i am certain from their perspective, they ARE trying to reform their own countries by attacking "the enemy", which is the US military-industrial complex. They hi

Here is an ironic coincidence and addendum to this. Today i worked with a young man who has some very serious illnesses going on. He is in chronic pain, with arthritis, and a number of other ailments. It gets so bad, he walks with a cane a times, and at times has to sleep sitting up. The guy is in horrible chronic pain. Medical science doesn't seem to have much to offer him. So he

I am sure you have all heard about the new scientific study that proves that cough medicines do not work. This is what is going on, in my view, with "Homeopathy", which is just a bunch of Placebo Water, and most of these other Quack "tonics". Why do people buy these products? Advertising. Just watch the new advertising blitz which will start very soon. This is a simila

I think some people LIKE going to these Quacks, because they simply tell the patient what they WANT to hear. They tell them they can get better, without drugs or surgery. They tell them that God/Universe/YaddaYadda wants them get better, and heal, and live and be happy. Also, the Quacks are warm and fuzzy. They are Empathic Therapists, as well as dispensers of potions and hand-wavers. They s

Wow, sounds like they are going after the story. I hope some folks here email the Landmark experts we have had on this forum. (Guy, and others). I bet they would interview anonymously someone who had been a Trainer or a higher up. This is THE big chance to tell the truth about Landmark! Once one 60 minutes does it, then perhaps the American one will do it too. Please, if anyone knows

But i like his attacks on the "Talking to the dead" scammers. But Randi is Randi. He is a crusty guy, that is who he is. On your last point, i am sure they would love to "shut down" all dissenti

I was a closet New Age Ninny, when i was in my 20's. I think it all started for me when i read Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain, and i just went from there. The impetus behind it for me, was the search for Truth, Meaning, Understanding, and just trying to figure out how the Universe works, and what is the nature of Reality. That was the driver for me. What is the Nature of Reali

Just saw the new 20/20 fluff sycophantic interview with Madonna, where she was yapping constantly about her New Cult. Is obvious she is under the spell of the guy running that cult, and its just as obvious she is not very bright, and is quite simple minded. On the other hand, she has a new tour, and is mainly attracting her older fans, so she needs to come up with a new Image to sell herself
