Horowitz, I think I may actually agree with you for once :-) He does come across as arrogant at that point, but to be fair, he continues to summarise his teachings in a nutshell and then concludes with "What is the highest teaching, highest pointing? You are the one you have been seeking, you are the Self." Yes, I'm sounding like a Moo defender again. Sorry :-/ I've been r

This forum is worse than a tabloid newspaper... Are we seriously discussing whether someone is pregnant or not based on a single photo on Facebook? And whether the guy next to her likes her or not based on how he is holding her in that moment? And then reading devious things into totally normal, run-of-the mill comments? And then jumping to conclusions like the guy is planning to run away and

Sahara 71 -- I'm not sure your ex cult member is reliable. There are a lot of mistakes in those numbers. I'd tread carefully with their info. First glaring mistake is that India season was 20 days this year (not 25 like in 2017 and no India at all in 2018), and I'd say that the 2000 number is only reached maybe in the last week (if at all!) AND that people definitely do not donate

Is it really so strange that Culture or Cult, a website dedicated to exploring where culture becomes cult has quite a bit of content about Be Scofield, a writer who makes it her job to "bust cults"? I don't find that focus unusual at all -- initially there was just one article about Scofield (among other items), then Erin arrived on the scene with his devastating allegations of

Interesting that on one hand Mooji is accused of keeping people trapped in his ashram, and on the other hand he is accused of periodically kicking them out. So which is it? Are people trapped with no way to leave? Or are they periodically encouraged to leave? I get the sense that more people want to be there than there is room, so I find it a bit hard to believe that anyone is actually being

QuoteSahara71 The video of Moo performing an exorcism was from his own Moo YouTube channel and was released by the Moo cult, not someone else. If you follow the link that was posted in this thread much earlier, then you will see that the link takes you straight to Moo's channel. Ive looked and cannot find it. Could you show me? I'm happy to be corrected, but I've just never seen

QuoteI yam that I yam Suicides of Mooji followers are not quite the same as student suicides at university. It's more like this: What? Sorry, don't get it... My point was that there are a number of people in the word who tragically end their own lives every single day. In the EU it is around 11 per 100,000 each year. The reasons are often a complex mix of many factors. I mys

"You are not really you, you are the one witnessing the witness but is the witness also you or are you not you?" is not a quote from Mooji and it is a failed attempt to summarise what he teaches. Many pages back the moderator asked me if I had anything bad to say about Mooji (or something like that). Sure I do. Noone is perfect. But what I see here is people talking about Mooji who

I am disappointed that this forum is not employing critical thinking when looking at evidence against Mooji. In my view it loses a lot of credibility when evidence is not properly evaluated, but is instead collated to promote a point of view. I am referring to Corboy reposting the xivoparig material and then selectively reposting the comments that support his view, while ignoring my comments

I think you are absolutely right with that quote, and I think this is what has happened with rumors about Mooji. I remember years ago chatter about him always being surrounded by beautiful women, which then moved to chatter that he must be sleeping with at least one, which escalated to a kind of ‘gossip consensus’ that this is true. Now, in the absence of confirmation or denial, the more recent p

Would anyone like to provide further comments regarding Discovery Training? Are there any rebirthing "processes" done in Discovery? What about guided visualizations? Do Discovery trainees gather in circles at times? Are discovery trainees ever led around the facility hand in hand with their fellow trainees?

Are any processes performed in any of the Discovery levels done in the nude? Are there any type of initiations in the Discovery program? Does Discovery incorporate drumming or incense in any of their activities? Are circles or sacred space ever created in any level of the program? Is there any calling upon energies during their training? Does the training include calling upon guidance from people
