I made some notes when I got home on what I recalled of the basic sleep/wake structure of the NWTA weekend. As they take away your watches, these timings will be approximate in some cases (+/- 1.00 hour). The NWTA Process Manual discloses the Friday night sleep time, but not the Saturday night one. Fri 6.30pm arr Sat 3.00am sleep Sat 7.00am wake Sun 1.00am sleep Sun 7.00am wake Sun 1.00pm

It's kind of a weird feeling for me when I realise that MKP is an LGAT. I've been through these forums in the past when I was reading a book called The Sedona Method. I knew about LGATs and didn't want anything to do with them. I had even firmly rebuffed the approaches of Avatar Training in 2011. So how did I end up signing up for a LGAT in 2013? In the scheme of things, I think

Prolonged eye staring is hard wired into us as aggression. And is used to establish domination. Yes! Good point. In fact, to give it its fullest description, prolonged eye contact triggers physiological arousal. I think of it as a kind of fight/f*ck thing :) Anyone who has tried a bit of eye flirting with the ladies will know finely calibrated that dance of power and interest can be. Between g

Knotty, I'm sorry to hear about your friend's behaviour. I want to give a big +1 for GloriaG's suggestion of Ehrenreich. Btw, Smile Or Die is the UK title, but it's known elsewhere as Bright-Sided. You might feel a bit of connection with Ehrenreich when you read about her experiences in a breast cancer support group, where she was told that her anger and negativity "at

@newfuture - While I don't feel obliged to defend MKP at all, I'm no-one's conspiracy theorist. MKP's motive is spelled out in their own NWTA Protocol Manual (Version: 2009-03-01): "The search is partially an intimidation process and highly practical because we do not want to risk any weapons coming into the training." Charming. I notice that the forced eye-con

I recently completed a NWTA weekend here in Australia, followed by a "homecoming" event and my first closed I-Group. I have had some mixed feelings about these experiences and wanted to record them here in the MKP thread at Rick Ross. Hopefully, my observations are useful to others. First off, NWTA is a LGAT. When I was contemplating doing the weekend, I came across several suggestio

QuoteThe AnticultThe beauty of the Sedona Release Technique scam, is that since there is nothing there, you cannot understand it. And it doesn't work. So when it doesn't work, your coach tells you its because you are not releasing hard enough, or releasing too hard...they blame you. Solution? More coaching! I don't think it's really accurate to say that it "doesn'

QuoteformerreleaserAfter releasing for so long, I feel like a woolen cloth has been pulled over my awareness and that the better parts of me have been grayed out. FormerReleaser: This is exactly the long-term outcome I would expect for Releasers. In my understanding, SM/RT is primarily about non-attachment. It pathologises emotions - "Feelings Only Lie" - and views them as a pesky bar

Wow - just listened to that episode of Background Briefing. I really get why a lot of you guys are angry about Landmark! I felt angry just listening to the double-speak that the Landmark execs put out in the interview. They came across as being incredibly dishonest, and it speaks volumes that Landmark left both Paris and Stockholm after being exposed in documentaries. That whole fake volunteer

Skeptic: I'm sensing that the crusade against the evils of LGATs is the prevailing current at Rick Ross. Can I just say straight off the top that I didn't really come here to debate about seminars. I do hear you when you say that group psychology and environmental manipulation can turn a relatively innocuous idea into a dangerous experience. (btw: I've only just remembered now t

QuoteQuestionEverythingSo, back to being a mere ego-driven mortal with all my feelings - positive and negative. And my problems. Reality is very underrated by those who would have you trade it for metaphysical realty, wishful thinking, and many of the other new age/spirituality concepts. Reality is really being in your skin and experiencing all the people and creatures in the world with all yo

At the risk of coming off as a "soft-apologist" for The Sedona Method, I would like to offer a little balance to the discussion here. There are some painful stories, no question, but there are also some outright militant positions that dismiss both the seminars and all associated content as worthless trickery. I'll start by saying that I am not a seminar-lover. I've never r
