Here's a link to the video mentioned in the article: By the way, the music is not quite the Misison Impossible theme, at least not the one written by Lalo Schifrin for the TV series. Schifrin's theme was in 5/4, while the music for the video on youtube is in 4/4.

I recently heard someone speaking about Momentum Education and it sounded suspicously similar to Lifespring and Landmark. Can anyone report on any experience they've had with this organization? Here's a link to their website:

QuotekialnI would appreciate it if you would remove the link to my blog, if you want to keep my quotes thats fine, but please do remove the link. Thanks. If you don't want anyone to link to your blog then I suggest you remove it. The whole point of the internet is to make information freely available. Nobody gets to restrict anyone else from linking to material on the internet.

After a few days of telephone tag the singer called me yesterday and we spoke for about 20 minutes. I had prepared myself by deciding that I would listen to what she had to say, respond accordingly, and not attempt to convince her of anything. She started off my discussing what I had raised about her name, telling me the literal meaning of the name. I told that she had told me that she had told m

The singer has left me email and phone messages saying that she'd like to talk, and it looks like it will be today or tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just to clarify the history, I sent a letter to the singer on 9/11/06 (which I believe I did not post in this forum), but I did not send the letter I posted in this forum in the middle of October. Thus the previous letter to which I refer in my letter of 12/11/06 is the letter of 9/11/06.

Today I sent the following letter to the singer in my band: QuoteI’m writing you to tell you that despite how much I enjoy working with you, despite how talented I feel you are as a singer, and despite how much as I like you personally, I am experiencing a serious conflict about hiring you for the upcoming performance, for the following reasons: 1) Your continuing participation in Landmark, 2)

QuoteShrimpboatPersonally, after doing only a bit of cursory research on LEC and finding so much negative info, I can't imagine why ANYBODY would get involved in this. I mean, if the course costs several hundred bucks, don't people even read up on it before they go? Just a simple google search brings up this website straight away. But if somebody you really trust gives you the hard-s

QuoteLoelaConcerned friend, I agree with everyone else who posted. Probably should let her go. Having had my own Landmark experiences I tried to maintain contact with some Landmark-made friends while pushing away from Landmark in general and it didn't work out. Often I think this way, but she is an excellent singer for my group, I like working with her, and, very importantly, she has never

I am considering sending the following letter to the singer in my group. What do you think? QuoteIn my previous letter to you I wrote that I was not finding as much to write as I thought I would have. I believe that I now know what I was missing. Since telling you my Lifespring story in the fall of 2004, I have assumed that you understood my view of Lifespring and other similar organization

This is my first post in this thread since May 10th. The singer who left my band for a full-time position in Landmark is no longer an employee of the company, but she says that she will continue as a Course Supervisor and an Introduction Leader for the near future. She also said that while she had thought that she was going to become a Forum Leader, she has come to realize how important music is

QuoteGulab JamonApparently there is a schism between The Ayn Rand Institute in Marina Del Rey, California, (the group led by Leonard Peikoff) and the Objectivists, who are based in NYC. One group is very much into preserving Rand's legacy and ideas with no room for reinterpretation, whereas the other group is more into using Rand's philosophy to interpret modern-day events. Unfort

QuoteLoelaNote to Concernedfriend, at work we had to participate a LGAT seminar called "Act One." One of the principles we are expected to follow at work is 'presume innocence.' Is it too late to do that in your case? Maybe she is stressed and feels the kindest and most ethical thing to do is to back out now? Can you give her the benefit of the doubt, or do you feel like sh

QuoteCruisaderWhat do you guys think of their petition? Less emphasis on bringing guests? That's funny. I suspect that Landmark will make sure to crush the revolt (i.e., in Landmark-speak, to not allow a clearing for the possibility of that conversation).

For all of you who have been involved with Landmark or est or Lifespring or any other LGAT, how did you get out? Here's my story: In the summer of 1988 my wife and I were on the team to build and staff a special Lifespring training for educators. I had taken the basic training in 1985 and then the advanced course, the leadership program, and several workshops. I went to guest events al
