Dear Julia, I am sorry you had to die. You truly believed you could help change the world by helping others through Dahn yoga training. How were you to know they lied to you and used you as they use everyone who passes through their doors? If only you could have survived the deadly hike that fateful day of July 12th, 2003. I believe you would have opened your eyes to the truth behind the

Here we are on the third anniversary of Julia Siverls' death. The case is still in court. The Dahn organization still manipulates and takes advantage of people in need. Dahn Yoga continues to be a dangerous cult. Rest in Peace Julia.

The Sedona Method sound like Dahn Yoga's version which is called shim sung. It lasts for a weekend and it sounds exactly like what you described with the Sedona Method. It is very emotionally charged and many people cry and have emotional breakdowns. There is a lot of manipulation going on as well. By the end you are no longer in charge of your thoughts, but have adopted the thoughts and ide

Thanks, Bonnie. You heard the Moonies were coming? Dahn Yoga is the new Moonies complete with all of the criminal activity from green card marriages to money laundering to believing Ilchi Lee is god. Dahn Yoga coming to a city near you. (Only if there is money to squeeze out of unsuspecting yoga practitioners.) BeWare!!!

Bonnie, You mentioned you worked for hire in the Dahn Yoga kitchen. There have been stories about drugs being introduced into the food to control members, have you ever seen this firsthand? I read a story about Julia Siverls (she died on a 20 mile training hike in the desert without proper supplies or supervision) and a few other former Dahn members having drugs in their systems. This was s

I just replied in another post. David Hawkins book, Power vs. Force is a mainstay at Dahn Yoga centers. He is seen on several promotional videos with Ilchi Lee. Anyone who associates with the likes of Dahn Yoga and Ilchi Lee is automatically suspect. He may be sincere in his studies but he nullifies them when he associates with a dangerous cult like Dahn Yoga. If his findings are legiti

If this is true. Will Guy Ritchie get Madonna to join Dahn Yoga? Dahn yoga and Ilchi Lee have been using David Hawkins book "Power Vs. Force" for several years. They use him as an outsider to validate what they are teaching. He is also on several promotional videos made at Dahn Yoga's Mago Garden in Sedona. It could be because David Hawkins was a student of Lester Levinson. H

Many former members are afraid to come forward due to a misunderstanding of their time spent in Dahn Yoga. Some former victims would just like to move on with their lives and forget their experiences with Dahn Yoga. I don't believe many members realize they are or were involved with a cult. How else can you explain the continued growth of this organization. There are many websites which o

Yes. Ilchi Lee purchased the property formerly owned by Lester Levinson. Lester Levinson is even buried there near the horse stables. Ilchi Lee has dubbed him Saint Lester Levinson. Lester Levinson was the creator of the Sedona Method. They have plans to take up alot of Sedona. If their past immoral and illegal acts are any indication of what can be expected of them, it is time to move. Res

There has been an update on www.newdahn.com/usa regarding the immoral activities of Dahn Yoga's founder Ilchi Lee. Please read for yourself why you should stay as far away from this cult as possible. There are many people who think this is a regular yoga class, but it is not. When you join you are manipulated into spending more money and more time than at any normal yoga school. You wo

You forgot to mention Dahn Yoga. Their intention is to build a spiritual UN there. They are busy buying up property all over Sedona. They already own over 80 acres(possibly 160) on Bill Gray Road and a trailer park as well as a coffee shop and supposedly a radio station. I think it will end up like that place in Oregon with that Yogi who had his brainwashed cult members take over some town by

There is a website at www.NewDahn.com/USA which just posted a 32 page story on the immoral goings on at Dahn Yoga. It is a story written by a high ranking Korean master who tells of how Ilchi Lee runs his organization. It is very disturbing how he has sex with masters and then orders them to have abortions. It is very strange how a group claims to be for world peace has so many masters com

It sounds to me like the same type of twisted reasoning behind the overpriced classes of Dahn Yoga. Dahn Yoga is a cult. Do your research and find out what a normal school charges for classes. Do not be taken in by a cult. They will ruin your life. Do not take the instructors words as anything more than a sales pitch designed to separate you from your money and your family. The only

Shirelle I am really sorry for your loss. My only suggestion as I am not an expert in the mental health field is to get your daughter to participate in something that brought them enjoyment before joining the cult. Did she like to go hiking or go bowling or even play tennis? What kind of music did she enjoy? Try to get them to remember how much fun they had before the cult took away their f

It is interesting how cults work. They exploit their members by using the goal of enlightenment. Once the members are in deep enough they don’t know better. They are being used by management. If any real corporation tried this today they would be all over the news and the CEO’s would probably face jail time. My experience is with Dahnhak. They have the masters working about 100 hours per week.

Do any of the Dahn masters mention that your out of pocket costs for enlightenment will be about $40-$50,000. This will be taken from you quite voluntarily over the course of about 4 years. This cost does not include you giving up your career and any benefits you may received from your company. It also does not include your out of pocket costs for using your car, gas, and other supplies voluntaril

Dahn is a cult!!! They will take your time and then they will take your money. If you are very unlucky they will take your life like the one they took from Julia Siverls. Please do your research about this group. They will love bomb you into making some very bad decisions. They have one purpose and that is to make their founder Lee a very rich and powerful man. They use everyone and everything
