Enter 'School of metaphysics' into google and view the search suggestions. I see the fourth suggestions as cult. I have attended one of the SOM's free presentations. Regarding this group, just seeing what others experienced / thought.

I work directly with a guy who leads the Cincinnati Oneness Blessing group. The leader of the Cincinnati Oneness Blessing and I are teachers in a special education classroom. He is the lead and I am an assistant; there are two other assistants. I practice raja yoga and meditation and I want nothing to do with the Oneness Blessing. That second post seems useless in this context. So, I went to a presentation hosted by the School of Metaphysics at the Cincinnati Main Library this evening; it focused on the spiritual meaning of spring. I am reading The Perennial Philosophy by Aldous Huxley; as such, I recently have become much more interested in metaphysics. And I found this institution called the School of Metaphysics. I googled it and was stunned at the search suggestion. Just curious about this one.

There are various kinds of cults: religious, meditation, political, business, etc. Are there any forms of yoga that are branded and sold, which attract cultish like devotion? Like Dahn Yoga, Sahaja Yoga. Are there other brands of yoga that are similar? If so, how?

I went to a meeting this evening. I am very skeptical of AmWay and Leadership Team Development. I am thankful for this site. I probably will have more in the future. I need to address this with the person who introduced me to this. So, this sort of thing stops happening to me.
