Naivenomore, As a former Sterling man who does not like much about Justin and his organization, and is not a brainwashed idiot, I have to say that I think it is highly unlikely that his behavior has anything to do with the fact that he was/is involved with Sterling. In my time there I never once encountered men engaging in infidelity, or for that matter, condoning it. I believe that is/was the

Nancy, A few corrections: I wrote about Sterling Men - "Many have a bad reputation." I do not think that was a fair statement. Men in general can have a bad reputation. I do believe Sterling Men can have a bad or good reputation. Also, many men who did the Weekend will never tell anyone they were associated with Sterling for fear of embarrassment, so the average person would never kn

Nancy, That seems to be the pattern. Find vulnerable men and convince them to do The Weekend so that they can have Justin's approval. FYI: I do not blame you for wanting to steer clear of a 'Sterling Man.' Many have a bad reputation. You are a woman, you posess intuition men do not have, you know a good man when you see/meet one. I think you will do the right thing. The "

Nancy, I just reread the the post you made on November 11 and the answer to my question is 'yes.' Sorry. Some men suck. Simple as that. There are good men out there. Do not be discouraged by the actions of one. Dave

I think the 'men are jerks' thing is about forgiving themselves for times they were not at their best and have made mistakes in their life. It is not a free-pass for emotional cruelty or anything like that. Please know - I am not one of the brain-washed goofballs. I have left the orgaization and will not return. There is a lot wrong with them. I will bet that I have read the same th

I did the weekend in the early 90's. I cannot say that it was a bad experience. And it is fair I to say that it did help me with a lot of lingering emotional probelms I was having, and it helped me to find some direction in life. I felt empowered and strong for a while after doing the weekend. I did join a Men's Team and did a Point Program as well. This is an optional follow-up program

I was involved with Sterling and I am willing to answer any questions you may have. My experience was mixed, some good, some bad. But I think it is important that people be given the oppurtunity to hear the truth. You will not get it from Sterling, or your friend who is trying to sponsor you. Dave

Pinky, I was involved with Sterling off and on for a number of years. Some good experiences but overall it left a bad taste in my mouth. There is a lot the organization will not tell you when they want you to sign up. The bottom-line to them is Justin's bottom-line. Enroll, enroll, enroll. And once in, if you do not enroll other men yourself, cult-like tactics are used to elicit guilt and
