Sometimes we wanted the adults to notice our absence - and our prowess. On those afternoons, on the way back to the Kids' Ilut with our birch sticks in hand, the carefully cultivated plants ill the Main House flower beds proved targets too difficult to resist. We would look at each other and, without saying a word, strip a flowery bush bare with a few quick slashes. One evening Sujan br

Good stuff, Corboy. However, one should note that Sufism's past is not all roses and glory. For example, many of the "great" sufis had nearly identical views on jihad, dhimmitude, and other questionable aspects of Islam to those of the modern-day Jihadists. Many of the modern-day Sufi orders also have no problem with jihad and terror, including the Naqshbandi's who include Mul

Again, let me be clear: I have no ties or sympathy for the CCP. Organ harvesting is a worldwide problem. I do notice that Falun Gong's claims get a free pass in the Western media, while the same criminality when done by our "allies" in Kosovo gets very little press. If China started to cooperate on its currency, my guess is we'd never hear a Falun Gong story again, as the U.

Not defending the Chinese government as a whole. However, even if what they say is true, none of this is relevant to a discussion on cults other than for analysis of propaganda techniques (and Epoch Times is the propaganda outlet for Falun Gong). What is relevant to a discussion on cults is the even MORE totalitarian worldview of Falun Gong, which is largely obscured in the American press.

I'm confused, Seeking Truth, as to why you posted this here? It is always interesting to read propaganda from the racist, homophobic UFO cult Falun Gong, but you simply posted it without any commentary or analysis of this mix of disinformation and lies? Perhaps you had a hard time posting in your own commentary? Either way, thanks for posting it, is always interesting to see what the FG

Thanks for coming here and sharing, Brynhild. Many of us here are well aware of New Age groups and the fact that while not easily categorized as cults, they can be equally dangerous to the human mind. That is why this board also involves "controversial religious movements". Personally, I've seen the damage they can do. Also, in case you don't know, many of these New Age gr
