I agree with what Elena has said, once a person has been in landmark for a longish period, its really only themselves that will pull them out however having said that they still need their non landmark friends even though they probably won't treat them very well (from my personal experience) Don't push books and arguments at your friend, it will just push her to get coaching about it

One thing to think about is that many smaller areas have landmark forums that do not meet the minimum 150. I know one area had six landmark forums in one year and they only had 75-95 people in them. so maybe they are not expanding? Midonov, Landmark changed the forum slightly in 2000/2001 using the new "distinction" of enrollment separate from registration. They taught us all how we had collasped the two and that they were sepparate. excellent posts nettie, I think the key to really moving away from the hold landmark has on your life is to disrupt and disasemble the language. Everything at landmark is based around the landmark language and they take ordinary words and twist them to fit their meanings and it is incredibly hard to resort back to the old meaning. Most if not all the leaders and the paid staff have been sucessful in their professions before going to landmark. I was sucessful in my profession reaching a high position at a young age.
