QuotekathQuoteadmmreFrom what I gather, their belief is that Christ was created, and not always. I think they have a good point, and I'm not even sure if it goes against the trinitarian belief. Hope someone sheds a bit of light on this one. Adam Yes it does contradict trinitarian belief, because Arians believe Christ was created by God the Father. That is, God the Father is superior

i saw a post reply on this in another thread and thought i would ask a few questions. i read up on Arianism on a few different sights just to get a slight background in it. and now i have some questions, hopefully somebody would be interested in giving their opinion. why would Arianism be considered heretical in the christian faith? i see that some points are a bit on the fringe, but i wo

here is some background on Kim. looks like he used to be a marketingdirector for P & G and started CC during the 80's in a battle against the new age movement and he was an anti-cult activist during that time also. link: http://www.religioustolerance.org/dc_conc.htm[____and here____[___strange]

Quotefulajaywhat i read they seem to be alot like christian libitarianist (or the loosly used christian anarchist), though they are not, due to the fact that they are pacifist and they claim to not take part in politics, military service or war. pardon me, i seem to have made a grammatical error that could be taken in the wrong manner. christian libitarianist (christian libitarianism or loosl

chaupil, i looked up some stuff. here is an outside link to some information. i have never before heard of them and know very little, but the link above does give some insight. it seems they use different terminology then usual. example, churches are not churches they are ecclesias (as in the early church of ecclesiastes) and that hell is not a place of torment but simply known

sorry for a late reply. busy with the holidays. agreed! i think what you say RR is very true. the emotional and spiritual trauma that we & other friends of ours experienced took years to get over. i think there needs to be more done to stop the cycle of brainwashing. there needs to be more leadership from YWAM the organization to YWAM the bases. if it can be fixed who k

actually, the "base" we were working with used to be labeled here on your site and the base director, emailed you constantly trying to get ours removed from your list. at least that is what he said. we were located in Florida. some of the stories may seem far fetched but alot of it is true. and as i said before not all of ywam is bad, just the parts that have no leadership and/or

hi and thank you! i was in ywam for nearly 3 1/2 years. though ywam as a whole isnt bad, alot of the individual "bases" that have little or no outside leadership or authority can be cult like. our experience was quite destructive and has taken a few years to recover from. fula
